  1. I know you can lower your main gun, but not pistols. What I was thinking of was some way to force the lowered weapon stance to be default and skipping the aimed stance completely. As in, the only way to shoot would be to aim down the sights. The reason why I would want this is so that when people first meet in the wild, they aren't pointing their weapons at each other by default. That way, you have a chance to react if you see his gun come up and point at you. I think this could lower the instances of shoot on sight as well.
  2. You have the flashlight actually out and pointing right? Like guns, it might have a "down" state where you are not pointing it. Try left clicking to get it out then trying to turn it on.
  3. I posted an idea for co-op gameplay, check it out. https://dev-heaven.net/issues/32053
  4. Bleeding while offline is fine otherwise disconnecting will become the new bandage.
  5. My friend and I ran into a survivor at Devil's Castle and he ignored us and went on his way. He could have shot us first, and we could have shot him but we just went our separate ways.
  6. I like Rockets's explanation. Now every time someone whines about food and water I can tell them "It's either what we have or you lose your gear when you log off but you won't get hungry or thirsty offline."
  7. This game is about your imagination and what you do with it. You know, like how video games use to be. Rocket doesn't implement features, he creates an environment that facilitates player created experiences. Players make the rules amongst themselves. Rocket gives us the playing mat.
  8. Carebears the lot of you. It's not like you can die while offline.
  9. I actually do not like this. The forest is my home and I don't want it invaded by zombies. There should be a blend of areas with varying levels of danger and currently I think it's fine.
  10. I'm pretty sure the zombies have a simple proximity attack so they can totally attack through thin walls. Melee isn't a feature of the engine.
  11. Beta Patch 92612 is old by the way. 92767 is the latest version.
  12. Just keep food and water on you at all times. That's the point of survival. Why are you logging out without food and water? Dying of hunger is just as valid as dying from zombies.
  13. Zombies need to be close to the difficulty of other players in an encounter. Zig-zagging, sprinting zombies does that. Nerfing zombies in any way just marginalizes zombies more so than they already are. They only spawn near buildings anyways. You should always have the drop on them not the other way around.
