Even if you did find your buddy you'd more than likely accidentally kill him or he'd accidentally aggro an entire towns worth of zombies and bring them straight to you since it sounds like neither of you have learned how to deal with them yet. The best way to learn how zombies react and how to lose them is to hang around the coastal towns and studying their behavior. You can also search the forums or watch some live streams for good tips. Hang out and chat via whatever program or system you choose. Learn how to play together but at a safe distance. You can give each other tips each time one of you figures something out. You're still playing with your friends, hopefully telling jokes, but you're learning the ropes at the same time.

If anyone actually doubts the rumors then they should ask Rocket about Samwell62 from the first ever dayz server. I bet he dodges the question or pretends to have never heard of him.

Finding ammo boxes is legit.

Its funny when these connection issues pop up. Usually after they get hit with a bullet.

Third person preferred. It's more tactical. Gives me the ability to feel out my surroundings. I also come from a tactical gaming background. FPS feels like I only have one eye and it's riddled with cataracts. First person for tighter spaces and close quarter combat. I only play on servers with third person on but crosshairs turned off. Crosshairs + third person makes life too easy for bandits.

The cars are just really really big in the WarZ universe.

I'm about to go on a barbwire, sandbag, and tank trap rampage. Anywhere where server hoppers frequent or snipers like to hide are about to get much more dangerous.

No way man! Finding stuff is super hard. When you die you have to find it all again and is totally lame. Imagine buying a storage space that all your characters can share for 20 bucks? Wouldn't that be awesome?!! How about buying your character out of limbo so you can play it faster?! Oh no! You broke your leg? Five bucks later you're up and moving again like a boss. Backpacks, food, water, medical supplies are all hard to find. Now we can just buy them!! Hey, I bet we can even buy houses to live in and hang out with pals! 20 dollars sounds fair! WarZ is going to be a massive success! This pay to win game design is revolutionary!

It just seems like vehicles should be used to get somewhere... not for storage. Thats just my opinion.

Even though those look more like staged 3d models than screenshots, OMG I CANT WAITZ TO PLAY THAT! I really really hate having to find stuff and I'd much rather buy it from an in-game store with real money. This will save so much on inventory space as we wont have to carry around food and supplies. We can just buy it! Awesome!! Finding stuff is lame!

2 days wont be enough. Any small group could get into a vehicle, start it, turn it off and hop out and we'd still have this pokemon hoarding problem.

I honestly think these posters are trolls or part of some carebear marketing campaign. I can't believe people have problems with killing avatars in video games.

Competition is good. What would Bugatti be doing if they didn't have the 2016 Volkswagen Beetle to worry about? It drives Bugatti to make a better car and that's a good thing. Sure, they look identical from a few kilometers away on a foggy day with your eyes mostly closed and sure Volkswagen has openly said they cruised the Bugatti forums for inspiration for their press release. And sure their press release had a few conceptualized drawings rather than actual pictures, that doesn't mean the car is worse than the Bugatti! It just means.. that they really want to ride the Bugatti coattails and hopefully milk a bunch of Bugatti fans through pre-orders for a car no one has driven or seen in person. Quit your WarZ hating fellas. It's going to be awesome like the Bugatti.. .but not as good in most ways.. and with a magic trunk and interdimensional gas tank.
