Hacking makes DayZ impossible to play 'seriously'

I don't run into hackers often and when I do I leave that server. -
Hit up reddit and look for their rescue force thing or ask for help here. "Somewhere" in a forest sounds close enough to a town to get zombies to kill you. Log back in, look in bottom right corner, find out where you are, tell us, tell reddit guys, look at a map, find a town, get killed by zombies. I'm sure someone will help you. Respawn button was abused and they removed it to reduce load on servers. Next patch might fix this problem anyway so freak out about a lack of a respawn button in an alpha test of a game that isn't complete anyway.

Krutoy is just as good unless you enjoy dm'ing in the cities. Solnichniy is just north and has all the goodies one could expect. Besides, I believe a group system has been mentioned by the DayZ team (rocket or someone, whoever). It might be a short wait for it to come around but for now the servers are running smoother and I'm happy with that. -

We've been able to run through pine trees and bushes to lose zombies for as long as I remember. I've never been lazy enough to stop in the tree though. -

I have a crappier system than you guys and the game runs smooth. I lower my graphics settings if I go to a major city but otherwise my framerate is fine. -

Definitely key. The animal may vanish before you can pick up the meat if you do not go into your gear when you first see the gear icon pop up. -
