    Whatever you do, don't drink it on Green Mountain at night. I did this once but I'm not sure if it was the spot I was crouching, the mountain itself, or the radio tower but I DO NOT recommend trying this.

    It's not that bad. The hacker idiots seem to be attracted to large popular servers. I tend to play on whatever servers have the lowest ping for me, up to date patches, and servers that are not full and I rarely run into hackers. When I do, I start over on a new server. Dying is going to happen no matter what so as long as you remember that and you don't get attached to gear like some of these guys, you'll be fine.

    I don't play on servers with name tags. I also don't want to see an immersion breaking sign above peoples heads. Skins are better. Edit: oops. Still, I don't like this idea. How am I to keep track of a million different players and their actions?

    20-30 bucks for hours of entertainment, even with the chance of hackers, is still worth it to me. I can blow 30 bucks on a night at the movies. DayZ is worth it to me.

    Works pretty well up close on people stuck in First Person View. I was laying next to a wall with nothing but a hatchet and a ghillie and they walked right by me. I thought it was because of my call of "friendly" but I later realized my mic was off.
