I never even stop there. You can sneak by the deerstand zombies so you don't really need a gun for that either. Sometimes I run all the way up to Zelenogorsk without a gun. Won't need one there either but there are 3 or 4 barns in the area so I usually end up with at least a hatchet if I feel naked without a weapon.

After getting into the game and sorting out the controls and graphics settings, I ran in to a bossy guy that wanted to tell me what to do. I was annoyed by his nice guy tone but he seemed to know what he was talking about so I followed his orders. I did all the little petty annoying things he asked while doing my best not to shoot him in the head with a gun he gave me. Eventually he tired of toying with me and told me to go meet his friend. I walked up the road and found a Humvee! I was so surprised that I immediately crashed it into a wall. It was awesome though and suffered no damage. It was built like a bloody tank and could haul some ass over rough terrain. I got lost but I made it to his friend without blowing the thing up. His buddy then gave me a choice between three rocket launchers! Good times.

Not to mention all the deerstands on that route. Kamenka is my favorite spawn, even if I choose to run down the coast.

Sucks man but I shoot anyone in Elektro, Cherno, NWAF, or near crash sites. Those are pvp areas and you're not likely to ever meet anyone there that is actually friendly. In the wild, that's different. I also always let my new "friendlies" take point. I also ask them to lower their weapon. If they don't then I don't keep my sights off them. If they don't know how then I don't want to play with them anyway.

Bandit = shoot Neutral survivor = watch Hero = shoot because he's likely a bandit that abused the humanity system

Ran into a few hackers tonight on what looked like their own server. The teleported me, made me invincible to shoot me in the head repeatedly, changed the time of the day a bunch, spawned vehicle after vehicle, and aimbotted their way through about 40 zombies with pinpoint accuracy. One died when he spawned a vehicle on his head. He teleported back and while he was trying to loot his stuff said "don't take our stuff dude". I then threw a grenade I had stolen from their truck and killed one. His buddy opened fire on me, I returned, nothing happened, he stopped shooting, started shooting again and then I died. I laughed. Oh, they were definitely kids. I could tell by their repeated use of the words "fag", "cock", the n word and their extreme homophobia. At least I got one before he went god mode again. (if you're reading this you hacking twats, fuck you)
