I mainly use tents to store loot for other players now, especially noobs. I've noticed others doing the same thing. For the most part they're tents full of food. water, backpacks, etc but I've seen several tents packed with vehicle repair items. These tents are almost always right near where the loot spawns.

Consoles are not made for fast paced first person shooters, at all. That said, I don't think DayZ would work very well on consoles but I'm no developer. If they have to trim the game away to make it work then it wont really be DayZ anyway. If they can shoehorn DayZ into the current generation of consoles without sacrificing the amount of players or zombies on a server then obviously it'll work. They'll rake in some cash but the FPS kids who think that's what gaming is all about would leave the second some other game is hyped down their throat. So it won't have a long life span but I guess that doesn't matter these days. If Rocket and Co learn from the development of the PC version and move to offer players more than the cookie cutter nonsense then I believe the game could be a wild success on all platforms.

Yeah soo... how about you avoid pvp areas and approach downed choppers and deer stands with caution? I'm a hero now but I don't really expect it to stay that way if I go into Elektro or Cherno.

That's probably the point. I'd like to see how the lack of NVG's would impact servers on their night cycle. I love playing at night with nothing but a flashlight but having snipers running around with Thermal and NVG's, likely duped or hacked, makes it even more pointless than trying to explore on a server full of hackers. I'd just like to see how this would play out. Only flashlights, flares, fires, headlights, and chemlights. Might make for an interesting experience.

I don't like private hive servers since they don't report the data to the main hive, obviously. How else will Rocket and bro study the spread and replication of a mind altering virus if the data isn't available? Huh!? Well?! Heroes are the white blood cells. Bandits are the infection. Survivors get attacked by infection and either quit like wimpy cells or are infected themselves. Hackers represent the raging fever of the weak autoimmune system. So far, the infection has been winning. Luckily we've received a shot of penicillin recently but we'll have to wait to see how well it works.

Um, no. Because I'd rather play than beg people to help me on the forum. I'd also rather start over and lose some gear than puss out because of a glitch. Chances are, if a guy uses alt-f4 to avoid bleeding out then he's very likely the same kind of guy that alt-f4's out of combat and anytime he gets killed just to avoid letting the other player loot him. AKA Scum. I promise I have more gear on me now than he does and I could care less about it. Gear is easy to find. You pokemon generation need to let go of the this sickening digital materialism. (but I've GOT to collect them all!) Just for the record, I've never been killed by a tree, a rock, a door, or a ladder. All of that is really easy to avoid. I bet most people that die from the terrain are wearing their first person blinders.

I don't see the point in that. The zombies offer no challenge. Maybe PVE could be mildly entertaining if the zombies were really really really tough. PVE as it is now is nothing but a scavenger hunt. I'm half tempted to request some type of team mechanic but even that would suck with FF off.
