It's not unplayable. It's just not worth trying to play it in any way other than straight up pvp. Even that is a waste half the time. Maybe it's time the game really goes the way of Minecraft and servers start to get whitelisted and some way to roll back hacker shit should be added. Obviously private hives. No sense in playing the game the way it is right now, not that it's impossible. -
Day 0, Found hatchet. Couldn't figure out how to reload it. Eaten by zombies near the Castle of Auuuuuuuugggh.

Fix the duping, problem solved. I never did like the idea of one hit kill sniper rifle that can pick off a target at 1000 meters but whatever. -
I thought I read something about the hive moving to a different server provider or host. Not sure if that was really true or not. Might make sense?

Only if we can drink from pools of water or the blood of an animal. Should still be plenty of knives in game so meat would be easy to find, especially long pork. -

You can't imagine a legit reason to carry a crappy gun and a good gun? How about so it appears you're a fresh spawn with a shitty gun while running around in the open? Then you switch to your sniper rifle when you get to your sniping spot. Legit. I do it. I carry a crappy gun so I'm not the most tempting target. -

Sure guy. I choose my targets. Bandits shoot everyone. Huge difference when you're on the other end of the barrel. Bandits are crying harder than the carebears now that they're the ones getting hunted. -

Yes yes. I'm not saying he's trying to hide that fact. I just though him saying it could have been legit was one of the funniest parts of the video. I was also pointing out the IGN guys complete failure to understand the game, or hacking in general, while asking the same ol' questions to the creator of the game. -

There are a few paths through Cherno that are mostly blind to snipers. The hackers are obviously the only real threat once you've worked out how to sneak through Cherno. -

That went about as well as expected. I laughed when they were amazed people would "run" to their location and when Rocket tried to pretend the helicopter was legit. Yes, hackers need to run to locations... and anyone with a legit helicopter flies it like a nutter and crashes it into the ground for lulz. Yeah. Sure. -

Humanity is buggy and I really hope they at least fix the weird morphing back and forth with the next patch. If they fix that and come up with some type of hero and bandit alternative for the camo and ghillie then the system would work better. The hero/bandit variants of the ghillie should be very slight but still have enough of a difference to spot if you're paying attention. The camo would be easier, bandanna or hat to set them apart from survivors while maintaining the current camo suit. Btw, I only shoot bandits on sight, assuming I've got the shot. I'm just giving them a taste of their own medicine and half the time they cry about it, which makes me laugh. Before the bandit skin, I was reluctant to shoot on sight. Now, I let regular survivors go free which is pretty dangerous given the bandit skin bugs. Still, I'd rather let a few bandits go than mow down every freshspawn or new player. -

I'd rather see an encumbrance system added. It's not impossible to carry a rifle on your back and one in your hands but it's going to slow you down with it's weight and make you're movements a bit more awkward. A simple restriction in movement speed would force players to choose what they carry and loot. -

Scumbag OP, justifies hacking with bugs and hackers. Hey! I got any idea! If everyone hacked we wouldn't need to worry about hackers! We could roam around the land until we found a place to setup a base or in search of super hacker vehicles. Then we'd need some hacking zombies to attack us to make it a little challenging and maybe some hacking guns that wouldn't let us hack them in out of thin air. Then maybe an occasional super hacker player that would kill us for our beans. If only there was a game like that. -

Depends how it works. If exiting an underground base means suddenly appearing near an obvious door or hatch without any means to defend one's self for a few seconds then I'm absolutely against this. It would be a deathtrap trying to leave these instanced zones. If it means loading into a hidden position from a base with multiple hard to detect exits, then that might not be so bad. I honestly think this underground base thing is kind of silly considering the setting and it seems like a little cheap but I haven't seen any of it in action or heard anything more than a vague description. It's too early to make an accurate judgement on this. -
I don't think a handgun with ammo would stop someone from jumping off a building just to get to Elektro faster.

They shouldn't be removed. They should remain rare. If one guy out of 100 had one, no big deal. It's only a problem if that one guy can dupe the shit out of it or some hacker can spawn a ton of them and leave them in a box on sniper hill. We have serious weapon inflation at the moment. They also should look into a way to stop the retarded loot farming and server hopping. That only inflates the problem, breaks immersion, and should be considered an abuse.
