That's probably the point. I'd like to see how the lack of NVG's would impact servers on their night cycle. I love playing at night with nothing but a flashlight but having snipers running around with Thermal and NVG's, likely duped or hacked, makes it even more pointless than trying to explore on a server full of hackers. I'd just like to see how this would play out. Only flashlights, flares, fires, headlights, and chemlights. Might make for an interesting experience.

I don't like private hive servers since they don't report the data to the main hive, obviously. How else will Rocket and bro study the spread and replication of a mind altering virus if the data isn't available? Huh!? Well?! Heroes are the white blood cells. Bandits are the infection. Survivors get attacked by infection and either quit like wimpy cells or are infected themselves. Hackers represent the raging fever of the weak autoimmune system. So far, the infection has been winning. Luckily we've received a shot of penicillin recently but we'll have to wait to see how well it works.

Chances are, if a guy uses alt-f4 to avoid bleeding out then he's very likely the same kind of guy that alt-f4's out of combat and anytime he gets killed just to avoid letting the other player loot him. I don't see the point in that. The zombies offer no challenge. Maybe PVE could be mildly entertaining if the zombies were really really really tough. PVE as it is now is nothing but a scavenger hunt. I'm half tempted to request some type of team mechanic but even that would suck with FF off.

Heroes, or even survivors with positive humanity, that kill nothing but bandits should morph into a vigilante or bounty hunter skin. Makes more sense. I also think bandits that end up with -100k or something should morph into something more extreme. Hopefully they'll add more than two skins and even consider skins for other playstyles of each end of the humanity spectrum. Good luck with that.

I only shoot bandits on sight. Wasn't really an option for that though.

How to troll with that system: Learn the size of the self defense hit box through trial and error with friends or through actual experience. Shoot outside that box in the general direction of player. Player shoots back and either earns a murder or grants you a non-murder kill. Repeat. Especially fun to do to heroes and sidekicks. Takes a little more work than pointing and shooting but would be possible to erase a heroes humanity in one kill if you're a clever troll hero.
