Rather complicated question don't you think? It really depends on where I am, what the player is doing, where he's going, what weapon he has, what skin, whether or not he's seen me, and a whole host of other things. -

1. Never leave the coast without meds and hatchet unless meeting up with squad. 2. Avoid killing other players unless they're a bandit or show hostile intentions. 3. Help others when possible. Or if I'm in a funky mood: 1. Pick up every tin can and empty bottle I find for throwing at players. 2. Find a hatchet for zombie work. 3. Run around the coast shouting crazy talk in direct. -

150 seems like a bit much but I bet the new loot system, new areas, and other changes will impact how players move around the map. Can't wait to see this. :) -

Upside of the mod: mods of the mod like DayZ2017, community maps, and private hives. We'll have to wait and see what the SA brings to the table before assuming the mod will ever die but based on what I've seen and read I think the mod will live on as an entirely different game of the same genre and we'll have to great games to play rather than just one. -

That's what I did. I applied and didn't really want to mess with the TS. So I got on some other servers and realized they were all plagued by bad admins, idiot script kiddies, and other hackers. I then fired up teamspeak the next day, spoke to some nice aussie gent and got whitelisted to all the BB servers in five minutes. Easy enough and I haven't regretted it since. -

http://balotabuddies.net/ BB has its share of bandits but also plenty of people that won't shoot you on site as long as you're not gunning down noobs. -

I'd prefer it you couldn't just sail directly to another island/area and you had to actually pick the right course (compass+map or gps required) and have the proper supplies (fuel, food, etc) to get there. Rather than getting prompted with "Would you like to sail to Namalsk?" it would say "Are you bloody mad?!?!" Players might run out of gas, starve to death, end up in the middle of nowhere, or make it to the island. :) Awful weather (% chance of failure) would be nice too. A lot of community trial and error would be needed just to figure out how to get there. Eat it metagaming. -

The changes sort of piss me off but I'm pretty sure I'm always the guy going around asking for the game to be harder... soo.. awesome changes, I guess. Either way, no point in getting TOO upset about the changes and resorting to calling people names. -

I like the ideas of slow regeneration from food or blood bags as long as you remain still. This instant stuff is part of what drives the deathmatching anyway. I do not like regeneration on it's own but having to find a safe place to rest and bag/eat would actually add more gameplay and strategy than hoping you get 800 blood from a piece of meat that you barely had time to carve and cook before passing out face first into a fire. Having to wait a determined time to eat again just to get healthy enough to actually play the game is pretty bad. This is a penalizing a play style. Lonewolves are screwed. -

This significantly shifts balance even more towards groups. It's already much harder to survive as a lone wolf than run with a pack and this change makes that even harder. If this was intended to push people to work together it'll backfire and make people even more weary of strangers. This change will drive a lot of solo players away. Sure, spamming food to bring your health back up is silly but so is finding bloodbags that are still good after the power went out. -
