A steep black gradient from the corners of the screen, think super fuzzy nvg view from a2 without the green, might work better than the current bloodloss fade or a status bar. edit: btw, why is this even an issue? -

I shoot anyone wearing a clown mask but there is no rule that says people must do this or only bandits must wear them. I'd like to apologize now for shooting anyone who just happened to put one on thinking it was cool. Also, avoid water bottles found on dead bodies or in areas with lots of banditry. Just a tip for the future.

The ability to add the long range scope to the hotbar (by itself) and use it similar to how the binoculars were used in the mod would be a nice realistic use. While not a substitute for binocs it would certainly have a realistic function and serve as a scouting and/or rangefinding tool given the setting. Just a sausage thought.- 7 replies

Please make loot respawn!!!!!!!!

Respawning loot will be nifty for loot cycling farmers and bad for server performance. So we'll just see the repeated server restarts anyway. This will make some problems even worse imo. Not really. Once you find your first well you can run quite a distance, looting an occasional can or bag of rice along the way. I've run along a good portion of the northern edge before being forced to drink and eat the supplies I had and then I had to run south to find more supplies. -

I'd love to see water pumps/wells come in various conditions that could be repaired by organized players. Randomly working pumps would also add an additional level of difficulty. Acquiring the various components to repair the pump would be the first step in any type of potential base building that may come. Similar to how vehicles were repaired in the mod, water pumps could require a number of parts or maintenance to get/keep them in functioning order. A repaired pump could also be damaged or destroyed. There could also be different types of makeshift pumps with various outputs. An electric pump and a car battery could be one of many potential crafting options.

Well, heh, the removal of wells from the actual map and replacing them with wells that one could actually repair wouldn't be that hard in my opinion. -

I don't think any of the sounds are finalized. -
It's completely possible for a new map to be created but I doubt they'll consider it until after Chernarus+ is done. It's not an easy task but they have the talent and experience to do it faster than the community. Personally, I love the changes to the northern edge of the map. It's very fun exploring that area and some buildings have already been added since I first took that stroll through that neck of the woods.
