So because some people cheat, you think its a good idea to destroy all the hard work of other players who don't cheat.... To cheaters that wipe means nothing, they lose nothing, but non cheaters loses tons of hours of game play. Retarded idea, fix the duping problem THEN wipe.

Actually there is a MUCH worse problem with removing the spawn button, Right now my friend is trapped, broken legs, bugged behind glass with nothing to kill him. No re spawn button...has to wait to starve to death...

Maybe they don't like your face? Actually its more than likely he thought you might be lulling him into safety...only to shoot him in the head when he turns his back on you. Its the nature of the game and unfortunately those brave enough to be friendly are the ones who get burned the worse... At least if you adopt a shoot on sight policy you can defend yourself....although this becomes a circle of mistrust and you get to a point where everyone shoots on sight.

What this guy said, you need the beta patch me thinks. Also, when you get in game, take out your flash light and walk slowly down the coast making yourself very visible... I'll take care of you :) Welcome to DayZ

My main problem with you OP is the use of the word "end game" That doesn't exist you flange monkey. Its a sandbox game, you start the game up..and that's it, its the game. Do what you will. I find COD, WoW style bullshit with this progression crap to be very boring. They manufacture your "progression", manufacture your character by guiding you to "endgame". Bullshit, give players the tools to do what ever the hell they want and you will always end up with some epic crazy shit, 10000x times better than any fucking writer for a game can come up with. Human imagination FTW. Coming up with sick and twisted ways to murder folks in DayZ is plently of fun for me, i feel all the emotions of guilt, greed, fear, happiness, rage etc and i feel no need to go get the best loot and be l33tz.

You have zero imagination, This is sandbox, no such thing as "end game" The game is the canvass and your the fucking artist, and if your a shit artist you will get bored fast. Did that even make alittle bit of sense??

Im a new player.. Didn't start with a gun and it made me appreciate them when i finally got one while also teaching me the importance of avoiding Zeds and finding where the good loot is instead of having it all handed to me like some spoiled child. As a result within several hours of playing I had massed quite the killing spree ... until a fucking door crippled my legs and i bleed to death :(

And this is why some think shooting unarmed people is hilarious, It creates a reaction like this. :P

Actually i think doing a Usain Bolt impression is fine when you first spawn, In fact i think its the best thing you can do, run, find a weapon and survival gear, out maneuver the zed train you got. Run to the woods and become solid snake...without the hours and hours of cinematics of course :).

Was in a barn slowly reloading, ignoring the slowly moving zombie in front of me while he suddenly ran full speed at me, instantly broke my legs i crawl to the top of the stairs, stand up to shoot the zed when another player unarmed comes storming into the barn towards me followed by a train of zeds. He knocks me off the stairs and to the ground when im in real bad shape. The Zeds that were following him start to converge on me lying on the ground bleeding to death. I take all 3 of them out and the guy who ran into the barn knocking me off the stairs rewards me with an axe to the face to finish me off. I've also died several time by going prone on a tower and magically breaking my legs.

And trench coats...

Get back to me when this gets translated into English.

Im not hardcore, elite bullshit player and I found this game to be great. I just don't think its for you, I was destroyed the first few times but the game requires those who seek a challenge and don't like to have their hand held for them. You may ask where is the fun in this? The fun also comes from brutality and how fucked up the human imagination can be. You have a huge open land, filled with zombies who are only a side note to the other players out there, you have no idea what the other guy might be thinking, do you team up? or adopt a kill or be killed approach. You spent so long crawling, have you tried re spawning? Also if you read any basic guide on the game you'd know how to lose Zeds really fast. Like i mentioned, other players are the real thing to get excited about in this game (and fear), and if you are having problems with Zeds then quit right now because your probably going to get your ass handed to you by bandits.

Everything you mentioned is what makes the game interesting to me... I love the fact i can be killed at any moment, some guy could just come around the corner and blow my brains out. But why did he do it?? Maybe its not for a death match, maybe he thought he had to kill me, otherwise i might of got him! That interesting dynamic reflects you as a player and how you act towards those in a similar position. Its just as likely the guy coming around the corner shouts "friendly" and you can team up. Now there are of course psychopaths who kill for fun, and honestly? i have no problem with them, the zombie apocalypse needs psychopaths .. have you played Dead Rising? ... play Dead Rising and you'll understand.

Iam new to the game but from what I've seen superior numbers will not be the only factor. As deadly as the well organised bandits are, the solo bandits arnt push overs either, if you come strolling into a town, open area, it takes just one sniper with half a brain and a pinch of luck to take out several other highly armed players. In that regard is difficult to just form an angry survivor mob of bandit hunters in DayZ when you have cities with multiple well concealed sniper nests. In my opinion you should go after a much narrow field of targets. Like patrol the coast line and try to find assholes camping spawn points....that would be useful! I think its a great idea though and wish you success in this, however im not going to hesitate when observing you from my scope :)

So im very new to DayZ, only played for 3 days, its great! While i was wandering through Elekto looking for a gun I picked up my first rifle, a Lee Enfield. In the same building i noticed another player..his back to me looting some items on the ground, I stood behind him, wondering if i should shoot him before he gets me. He turns around with a Revolver in his hands and nothing...no movement. He starts moving from side to side using Q and E....at the time i had no idea this was some kind of a way to say you mean no harm... Unfortunately I took it as a threat and embedded some lead into his skull. And it happened, early in my DayZ life i was a bandit. Several minutes later i was scaling water towers and lying in wait to snipe the next person i see. First guy was running across a wide open space, so i took him out, not for loot but for fun. And have taken to the tactics of wounding rather than killing, give it enough time and their friends will come out of hiding to try and help. So far I've shot 8 and i'm really enjoying the bandit life style, live by the sword and prepare to die by it! ( often ) Do i feel guilty? Only for the guy who tried to tell me hes friendly. Sorry dude, but your revolver kicked ass :)
