how do u overclock ur cpu. i've gone to bios and i dont see anything that lets me change the speed of my cpu

this might be not be anything, but i can play dead island at 30 fps. i think its on medium settings

specs: intel pentium e5400 dual-core @2.7ghz ati radeon hd 5570 6 gbs of ram i've looked at a few sites, and im only going to mention the 2 i use the most. first, game debate, says i can play the game near recommended settings. but then the next site, system requirements lab, says i can't run it at the minimum settings. and i have dayz at lowest settings w like 6 frames per second. does anybody have anybody have some ideas. i have done the stuff w my arma 2 files

the only reason why i understand this post (for the most part) is that i saw another post that told how to excatly do it. wat u need to do is go to "my documents" to "Arma 2". then there should be 5 files. open all of them except for the "Saved" folder, using notepad. and u can just edit it right there in notepad. i took me awhile to actually figure out which ones to edit in each folder. but it wasn't that hard to find them. and i can't remember where they were, sorry. but i tried what he had said to do and it didn't work, like not at all. so it might be that my computer is better than his, but not by much. so if there r any other suggestions, please inform me

i heard about that. but wat do u mean about tip top shape. like making sure theres a lot of space on it???

how do u do the fps test

i've read some articles about making dayz run smoother but i can never understand how they do it. i try and i try and i try some more because i love this mod. can someone tell me how to make my experience better. ati hd 5570 pentium duel core e5400 @ 2.7ghz 6gbs of ram and my hard drive is a 5.9 on that windows experience index
