Someone blew up the church.

Just got in, but am too far away to join in the church, so I left. 1589, password is "LessDDoS!"

Server crashed. Went from 100 man capacity to 64.

This poll is honestly irrelevant because we've only been able to play one of the games. How can anyone really make an objective opinion?

Has it actually been solved yet though?

Most traumatizing experience I've had in the game. About a month or so, when I first got the game, in like my second day I went up some castle/forte and looted the shit out of it. On my way down was this guy and we kind of stared at each other for about five seconds before we shoot led into each other numerous times. Everything went blurry, people scurried, blood flew in the air and when it was all over, he lied there motionless. I lie there bleeding, in shock and nearly dead. I bandage myself and pass out.

So after the update, I'm getting this stuck at loading screen thingy. Anyone else start to get this after updating today?

Just random, but the idea I had, and I'm sure many others have had too, is to have definitive rolls set out for each player each with their own set of perks. For instance, a 'doctor' survivor can bandage, heal broken bones and give blood to any other player without having to have those loot. Or an "ex marine" can provide ammo.. those sorts of things. This is one way that may hinder instant killing, perhaps, just a bit. I'm not one for limiting the pvp killing because I think that's what makes this game great - the unknown. However, there are certain things that could make more choices which I feel are more important than limitations.

I had a similar experience. I just spawned, went into the first house and found an axe, and took off down the road. Within seconds I hear the sound of a car engine and in a flurry I turn around frightened to death. I see a red car barrelling down the road, so I go into prone mode but it's too late. He sees me and the car comes to a screeching halt. I prepare for the worst, he gets out of the car and looks at me. I tell him, "I'm friendly!". He remains silent for a few seconds and tells me to hurry up, get up and come to him to which I complied. He tosses me a sniper rifle with ammo and says we have to hurry because a group of bandits are chasing him. I tell him I know where we can go, that I had a secret camp set up somewhere and that I'd take us to it. He tells me to get in a drive and off we went to the camp, but before stopping for some medical supplies at a hospital. Days later, we are good online buds and try to play as much as possible, So far, has truly, been one of the only genuine moments to come from DayZ and just goes to show that there are good folks out there, not to mention, on the coast.
