maybe the crash could be caused by an infected onboard and when you reach the site the crew are dead, surrounded by loot and having their intestines fed upon by the infected :P -

the hind is difficult to repair/refuel, you have to find the right spot. Walk around it slowly (while rolling the mouse wheel to spot the damage menu), also try stepping away from the tail a bit and looking at the arse end of the chopper -

best thing to do before you log out is make sure you have your most valued possessions on yourself, then when you log back in at least you have those! tents can get raided and vehicles stolen. -

our vilayer server messed up too, logged in friday like a new spawn with everything lost. Started over and geared up again and logged out friday after a bit too much to drink, logged in yesterday with everything lost again. Gearing up again hasn't bothered me, it's the feeling of 'what's the point?' if next time you log-in you are like a new spawn again. Some word on what is actually going on/how long it will probably take would be nice. -
Graphic issue Please help an old guy...

I had a gfx issue where every so often the screen would go dark like as if it were night time or the screen would go white like I had been flashbanged. I have sorted it by switching the gfx memory to default in graphic settings. Hope this helps (you may not need to switch to default but maybe another setting like high. You can do this while ingame to better resolve the problem too) FYI I am using 2 x ATI 5770 (1GB each) -
as you can see by my blood I was glad when the rescue party turned up :)

could you maybe change the adverts on the DayZ map to a different format? Alt-Tabs us when the adverts refresh, anyone else getting this? I know a few on mumble with me are.

haha apologies, it's not part of this site, yes it's a map I use when I get killed and start over again, helps keep your bearings. But maybe the people who make that map/site could maybe take this on-board? http://dayzdb.com/map#3.062.107

press escape>abort>disconnect>exit>close the game. load again and it seems to sort itself, not always but most times for me. (completely exit game/shutdown don't just drop to player pool) -

maybe your client is 1.7.2.4 and you are joining 1.7.2.5 servers (this is what happens, it lets you join and sticks on loading) either update to .2.5 or stick to .2.4 servers for now (alot of servers are still .2.4) -

yes you can have 2. You need a decent backpack though with more slots. Just have one rifle in your inventory and put one rifle in your backpack but keep 2 or 3 mags in your inventory for each rifle. Makes switching between them less confusing if you have ammo for both in inventory. -

I am also getting this, since updating I don't get the graphic spikes so much but something that I could only describe as being flashbanged quite often lol
