Assuming that it wasn't pilfered in today's raid, I should have one laying around. Why do you want it so much though, it's really the worst STANAG variant the game.

I get shot at regularly on low pop servers. My buddy calls me paranoid, but even though I'm the one who always gets shot at, I'm the one who always survives getting shot at.

I destroy my tents. Why? Because every time the server restarts, my actual tents, the ones I found, are joined by clone tents. Now look. I love having plenty of space. I fill my tents up with every weapon, magazine, medical supply and piece of meat I can find. And I don't mind if someone else swings by and loots them. The good stuff is hidden pretty well, so you're probably just looting my airfield tent and grabbing a quick resupply, which is fine. But I don't like cheating, and the fact that at a this point, I would have over 12 tents for my own personal use just takes the fun out of the game. There's no sense of fear. If I died, I'd just run back to a tent and immediately have a fresh kit. I got shot at today and it didn't bother me, not just because it was sloppy(How do you miss a guy crawling down a ladder twice?), but because even if I hadn't been able to run into the woods and make myself scarce, I'd have only lost an M104 and an M9.

If you want a weapon to compliment the DMR, I recommend an M4 or M16 variant. They at least still do respectable damage. AKs just don't pack the thunder these days.

Not looting that helicopter probably saved your life. They tend to attract bandits. Check out www.dayzdb.com if you're lookin for loot or gun comparisons and spawns. It's a great resource for new players :)

I keep a tent near the airfield, and one farther out, in the woods. One is for convenience's sake, standard weapons and ammo, food and water, etc. One is full of the rares.

None of them have genitalia. Thankfully there are no nude mods for Arma 2.

No. I don't think it would be good for the game. Lot of players would quite out of frustration. What about the newbie who just found his first honest military item? Or the clan that just got their first helicopter up and running?

Honestly, I don't see the appeal of most snipers. The ammo is just too rare on em for them to be much use in my opinion, especially since in the next patch, you won't get your free top off when you log. With a DMR though, you get NVG compatibility and plentiful ammo, with a huge mag. What's not to like?

You know what's even worse? Killing yourself with a door. I did that my second day.

Seems kind of wasteful. Sure, loot their tents, but why pitch all the loot?

I keep hitting the numpad keys and the numpad enter to look around in other games.

At the risk of getting shot, M203 flares are fantastic at night. Don't last too long, but they light the place right up/

No no. You paid thirty bucks for Arma 2. You didn't pay a dime for Day Z. Huge difference.

I consider the proper welcome to new players to be chasing them with a hatchet until they're spooked, and then running off into the woods.

It's a hacked weapon. If you got it off a corpse, you can use it untill you die or run out of ammo. Rocket's okay with second-hand hacked weapons, it's the source he has problems with.

Honestly, I'd like to help, but you didn't post a server either.

Mandatory chastisement about Aborting out of a fight. You got shot at, learn to live with it. But anywho, You'll die if you don't get lucky and have a medic standing by when you log in. I'm pretty sure that bleeding increases as you lose blood.
