Well, if you try and play with a hacked weapon on my server you wont be there long. Apart from the fact that most admins are going to assume it was hacked in by the person carrying it, it gives you an unfair advantage over players who dont use hacked gear. People using hacked weapons they "found" are no better than the hackers themselves and clearly have no care for the enjoyment of others, only themselves.

Bloody ladders!! They are more deadly than any player, almost as bad as the Doors of Doom and stupid rock instadeath glitches! I cant promise that you will have no more probs with ladders but if ya do we will always watch your body for you.....with only minor looting.......probably! Been having a blast with the guys that have already come along, hope to meet more soon, this is how dayz is meant to be played.

FatKev had the TWS AS50 then swapped it out after we put a message on the server about hacked weapons. Then the next day we see him with it again so he is kicked and you are told not to bring them to our server. Then later that day when one of our group happens across an atv that turned out to be yours what do we find in it? yep, you guessed it, a AS50 TWS. Its not hard to destroy a weapon that is hacked, but you choose not too after being warned more than once. And you have some evidence that we used scripts to find you? We had 10 people all over the map, someone saw the atv, we came and shot the owners.

Really? we have a spectate option?....wheres that again cause ive not found one....... I'd love to spectate a few of the players we have had on our server like the ones with AS50 TWS's, not one of those are you now?

People who sit in tress are those with no imagination to build their own stories in the wasteland. And with people like you, with the attitude you have, we will only ever get more of them...... Why not go and do something you think is fun and let them do their thing? Each to their own and all that

You can't password a DayZ server, its in the rules you agree too if you use Rocket's mod. If you do you leave yourself liable to having your server blacklisted and you accounts banned. You can have a "private hive" that only saves characters on your server but still cant be passworded.

Nope, some peole like the carebear easy mode of recruit due to the Crosshair, Name plates and the Map showing your location and that of everyone around you. You do realise that Recruit does not change the difficulty at all? Name plates work both ways, you might be able to see the other person easier but he can see you just as easy now. Crosshair is also pretty useless, use the iron sights or just shoot the center or your screen, anyone who has played games before should be able to pick put the center screen in a crunch :) Failing that a small mark works too! And finally having the map show your exact location is quite usefull but you have not even begun to experience this game until you spend 2 hours lost in the woods.....

Try the ones that have the same version as you, I have 1.7.2.4 and 95417 and those servers seem to be ok, but the others struggle to load.

Recruit? Really? Man the hell up a bit! You cant kick people from your server for spawn killing, read the DayZ rules, if you use the mod you must abide by them or risk your server being blacklisted. Unless they are hacking, beng abusive or racist then your pretty screwed, cause if you kick them and they QQ then you will get the grief :(

Maybe its for the link you posted to the hack site? Check your other topics and you will see the mod has explained it to you...

Not the best first day I could have hoped for tbh....... Oh well I guess things can only get better anyway :)

set video memory to Default, turn vsync on/off. it will probably do it again anyway, just play with those settings till it goes again..... next patch should fix

Well, there are certainly a lot of threads in this forum...... Here another one, cause its a nightmare searching through them all! UK player, 2? years old, on most days, looking for a mature UK based clan that preferably uses teamspeak, cause its the best and I already have it!! Been playing DayZ for a coule of weeks now but really need some more goals than just lone wolfing it. Any clans out there looking? Send me a message Chris

just pick a server with the latest version or get in touch with the admin and tell them to update. although, i can play on version before mine, I was playing on a 389 server just yesterday with the 417 patch

Yes, yes, a million times yes. Would be sooooo much more fun with closer range firefights. 8 out of 10 deaths these days are too unknown snipers camping in a bush half a mile away :( This is getting like Marathon Sniper Sim 2012 - Run 26 miles then sit a bush for 2 days......yay, great fun.....

Lo all I was at Devils castle yesterday after updating to the new patch and I saw my first flying heli! So I shot at it :) and so did someone else. The pilot tried to evade but crashed at the castle. Now I attempted to investigate the crash site but when I got to about 20m away, checking the tower and surrounding area all the time, I died :( Just died, nothing else, no shots heard, no hits first, just "you have died". Bummer I assumed it was probably a headshot, you never hear the shot that kills you after all, but after running back over the next couple of hours and the same thing happeneing again I started to wonder if there is a feature/bug that stops you getting too close? Heat? Fire? Or was there just a very well hidden sniper popping headshots? It was about 2 hours between my first and second deaths, seems a long time to just be sitting in a tower or tree on the off chance someone will come along...... I think there needs to be a feature that tells you how you died, more than once I have no clue as to what killed me and it makes it all the more annoying after so many hours spent.

Meh, oh well guess i'll check harder next time. But still, something that says "you have died from a gunshot wound" or "you have died from XXXXXX" will give people some clarification and make it easier to take. Or just the clasic "you were killed by XXXX" would make for some grudge matches :)

Get your own, only way to be certain, or at least make friends with an admin! :)

Some? I can get on 2 out of 28 ive tried :( and its bloody midnight on one and the other has been stripped clean!!

You have to fix your bone You have to find a map Try a big building like a barn, infected move slower in them Maybe lookup some other tips on whatever site you got your map from But im guessing this game is just not for you cause lots of us thinks its epic, go play something else

All of y'all need to learn to shoot ffs, headshots or you might as well be whistling dixie.....
