In that case go play arma 2, oh wait i forgot most scenario's spawn people equipped for the job so you can't camp the coast for dudes without guns. So every other player is the enemy now? I find this particularly funny because all the "hardcore pvper's" claim they love pvp, yet kill everyone on the coast and horde vehicles to prevent people being able to pvp with them. Honestly I hope non of those guys play pathfinder or D&D as they would probably make for an awful experience.

I think allot of it is due to players not bothering to learn some basic arma controls, like holster weapon, salute, stuff like that. so you end up with everyone having weapons constantly ready to fire. kinda wish there was a button for loading a live round since that makes a very clear sound and signal of your intentions.... course ill bet most of the cod players would complain about spawning, finding a gun, and not being able to fire it because they were to lazy to read the controls.

I dislike it because usually its just a "hardcore pvp player" who'd rather snipe new spawns on the coast then play arma 2, The best bandits are the ones who actually do it believably with armed robbery, kidnapping, etc. I robbed people on the coast for beans once for fun. shame food and water is everywhere so i was only really doing it for fun.

But you see arma 2 has players who can shoot back and is usually small scripted scenarios in which everyone is aware of the situation. Greifers in Dayz don't like that, they'd rather camp a hill for 2 hours waiting for an oblivious new spawn.

So instead of playing it like a survival horrer play it like call of duty? thanks for proving his point.

I like how these guys actually do creative things instead of bitching about there being no "end game" and killing fresh spawns for lulz. im hopeing the developers take not of this while designing the standalone.

Actually they are a problem because they are poorly implemented, these things are massive and yet we can jog with them or toss them into a back pack, fire them standing with pretty good accuracy, etc. this problem is only worsened by the dupeing, if they are in stand alone i hope they are implemented way more believably because its silly watching a dude jog with these and quickscope.

Flight simulator is also a game, but you can't nose dive into the earth and survive in that.

Hopefully they make it so cars need to be maintained and make it so if a car isn't use a certain amount it respawns, because dicks in this game have nothing better to do they save cars off map in some convoluted idea that its a "PVP" thing like they are at war with the entire server or something.

I get a good laugh out of the "realz worldz" posters, seriously? this Is a game thats easily exploited by power gamers , being a dick is still being a dick regardless of how you do it and reminds me about why I've pretty much given up on multiplayer games, ever since eve came out online multiplayer has had more dicks then chat roulette.

as is they are pretty random as hell, if I die its usually early on when i only have one bandage and get bleeding twice or when im at around 9000 blood and get knocked out for like 3 minutes while they eat me.

Ideally you want others to always be in front of you and for them to have only the secondary drawn and holstered when no threat is present. so far I haven't been killed yet useing this method, though i have had to kill a couple guys who have unholstered there weapons and tried to quickly turn around. most players arn't stupid enough to try that with a guy with an AKM behind them though.

I find it funny that bandits never cry'd about the ammo refilling itself, dupeing, using teamspeak, etc ruining the immersion for them but now that there is a skin that lets people know your a PK suddenly its immersion breaking and must be fixed.

I don't like it either but its pretty much a necessity because of all the internet badass wannabes camping fresh spawns at the coast to feed there ego, Idealy the community should just be mature enough to not do this... however its pretty clear thats never going to happen hence the skin's.
