never once in hours of gameplay found a morphine injector or blood pack anywhere besides a hospital. Just saying and if your guy has the knowledge to administer a blood pack to a friend, then I don't see why he couldn't use on on himself, it kinda of makes it hard on people that like to play solo. And I know there is nothing keeping me from shooting bandits, but if you can't even walk into a town with having at least 5 bandits roof camping or corner camping supermarkets how is one supposed to even have a snowballs chance at even finding a weapon to protect himself with? Have you ever noticed when you start over, all you can find are hatchets? Most games I've played through i have to find 50 god damn hatchets before a gun even considered spawning in any of the item locations, how is that even remotely realistic? Oh hey a bandit on the roof sniping.... lemme just go up there and tomahawk chop the shit out of him and hit friends, im sure they wont shoot, yeah right....that'll freakin' happen. I've tried tree stands to try to stay out of towns at all to no avail, all I ever get is ammo for guns I have yet to see in the game and the occasional backpack. I've headed into the smaller northern towns, found decent weapons and ammo, but NEVER any medical supplies besides bandages, heat packs, and the occasional painkiller drop, kind of inconvenient when you break your leg.... crawling 5 miles to a town can take around 30 min. who the hell wants to crawl for 30 damn minutes only to spend another 30 min searching a whole town and not find a morphine injector? Evidently you guys have had a hell of alot more luck than I have finding morphine injectors in other spots than the hospitals. And if there are other hospitals on the map where the hell are they? I have been in 95% of the towns and only seen hospitals in tow of them, so tell me exactly what towns are you finding these in?

Lmfao, i like how so many people get so defensive about this MOD, my main point in the first place was just more places to spawn medical supplies, and that was all, If I was a bandit I know I would camp the medical supplies, it just makes sense, and for you that claim that there are other hospitals on the map besides Cherno and Electro, I think I have been to just about every town on the map ( http://dayzdb.com/map#4.029.114 ) and anything medical supply related is pretty rare, maybe a box of painkillers once in a very blue moon. The rest of the suggestions I was just spouting out random thoughts, thinking that maybe other people would reflect off of those suggestions, and maybe we could come up with a"good idea"!!!!! And all I got was ( you got sand in your Vagina, and bucket of tears blah blah blah, bet you guys are really successful in life if you argue like that in person ) this is a suggestions forum, and people have opinions, I respect your opinions and there is no need to act like a bunch of little kids over the fact that you don't agree with mine, I just really think that being a bandit should at least have some down falls to it, as of right now there really is no reason not to be a bandit, for every action there is a consequence and as for bandits right now, there really are no consequences for there actions that I can see besides the fact that people can shoot back( if they're lucky ) well it doesn't really seem to matter on any server i've played on, because everyone has been fucked over so many times by bandits that its rare to run into someone that doesn't just shoot on sight IMO and in my experience, and like I said before there is nothing incorporated into the game that would keep others from refraining from doing so, ( AKA when a person dies the zombies can smell the blood or hear the bloody screams of a dying man or some crap and come running from all around, this would still allow bandits to bandit, but would give a reason to be more selective than shooting everyone all willy-nilly on sight. a All I really want is just a way to balance out the bandit ridiculousness that IMO hurts the overall experience. (DID I MENTION IN MY FUCKING OPINION!?!?!?!? ) And you guys can name call and say whatever you want, It's quite obvious that the guys freaking out about my suggestions are most likely the ones that do nothing but bandit all day long.

yeah, so i've played this game about 10 play throughs since this post / rant ....... I just find it so entertaining to run the the fucking woods for 5 hours just for someone to shoot me, and to start all over again. lemme tell ya what a fuckin blast man......... I'll have to tell all of my friends about this sweet running simulation game I found no the zombie was glitched out under the ground, yet another amazing perk of this game..... Well im gonna pretty much go ahead and just go ahead and delete this game off of my computer and delete my account off of this forum, so feel free to talk as much shit about me as you would like. I won't see it. I've been waiting for a game like this ever since I was a kid, always been big into zombie anything..... just didn't cut the mustard for me. It had it's moments followed by long periods of utter dullness and frustration. I'm sorry, but the bandits just ruined it for me, a had more fun playing by myself. 99% of people in this game are just trolls, why bother wasting ammo on an unarmed man that just spawned? because you're a fucking troll. enjoy laying inside of a building for another 3 hours just so you can get the satisfaction of killing someone trying to enjoy a game about "ZOMBIE SURVIVAL".... ......this isn't a zombie survival game at all, it's the biggest fucking troll fest i've ever played. you trolls enjoy giving eachother reach-arounds all day you faggot fucks, im out.

How about you guys read my last posts. the sand is out of my vagina... jesus you illiterate bastards, and yes if you have ever noticed when you have a map it does work as a short range radar as well. First you will have orange dots, if you put your cursor over it it will say man - this can either be a zombie or a survivor, sometimes if the survivor is out in the open it will become a blue dot and read survivor. FYI

And I know it isn't proper to post long stories like this in the suggestions, I was just trying to make people understand why I thought the changes I recommended make sense to me... and I was pissed off. lol

no i was just correcting one of the errors that i noticed after i posted, and the white flag system would not make you invincible, bandits could still shoot you and kill you, It would just be a method to let other survivors know that they don't need to shoot you to be safe, sometimes I wonder if the times I get shot are by bandits or other people that shoot everyone on sight becaue they have been screwed over too many times that they dont want to risk it. i dunno, dumb ass idea i suppose i'll just suck it up and try to find another bus.....god i fucking love that bus lmao "if you having leg problems I feel bad for you son, I killed 299 zombies then a glitch broke one."

I know its to be expected and im not by any means crying about it, yeah I know this was a long rant but It is just so damn impossible to get proper medical supplies anywhere but one spot on an entire map was my point. I was just a little pissed last night when I posted this, and yes I had a blast while it lasted......UGHHHH I just don't want to do all of that work again.....You ever seen the movie zombieland? I have caught myself making rules for zombie survival like they did in that movie lmao.... I dunno im sorry for trying to drown everyone "in my bucket of tears"......time to put on my big boy pants and try again I suppose.......I just need to practice my survivor vs. bandit combat skills.......I just wish there was a better way to tell the difference between bandits and survivors..... they at least should incorporate a white flag system...... If you have your white flag up other survivors can shoot you all they want if they have their white flag up and you wont be damaged.....but even if you're in white flag mode you can shoot people that have theirs down (AKA bandits) and people with the white flag down should show up on the map radar as bandits, and when you put your crosshairs on them there name should be red or something. You would not simply be able to take your white flag on and off as you pleased there would be a 10 min waiting period or something so you couldnt just split second become a bandit and shoot a follower in the back, and once you have one murder the white flag cannot be used any more.....and killing someone with white flag down would not be counted as a murder. Im sure people will disagree but i think it makes sense.

Ok so my brother talked me into buying arma 2 just for the DayZ mod, we both played it for a while and after hours we finally found each other and all was good, until an invisible zombie one hit me for roughly 4000 blood and broke my leg.... my brother ran to Cherno got to a hospital and as soon as he was picking up meds a camping bandit shot him in the back of the head... go figure. So I eventually passed out and died in the woods yay ( this was our 3rd play through, and he has not played the game since ) So now knowing that no matter what server you get into, every fucking hospital is going to have a little bandit bitch camping it, If I was a nutless fairy I would do the same thing. So my next play through I decided to just head into the northern parts of the map, No hospitals = No Bandits a theory im sure is not right 100% of the time but still it seems right for me 100% of the time so far. I was in heaven, well zombie hell game heaven, I spent time crawling and sneaking and running from zombies from town to town, slowly stockpiling the essential tools and supplies one needs for the zombie apocalypse, got a rifle, and swiftly and silently moved from town to town gathering ammo and supplies. And thank the Zombie apocalypse gods for supermarkets!!!! After I had found all of the essential tools, I started searching fields and I was playing the funnest god damn zombie / animal hunter game I had ever played...well the only one I know of....but I was having a blast, My blood meter was a little low due to some unfavorable ecounters, and even though I needed pain meds to steady my aim, I spent hours hunting game, cooking food, and eating enough steak to refill my blood meter to over 10k, as there were no hospitals around and blood bags require a team mate it seemed the logical route to take. All was well and I was having a blast blasting zombie scum in the face with my lee enfield and surplus of ammunition, I finally found a church that had a box of pain meds in it, yet again the Gods of DayZ answered my prayers!!!! HALLELUJEAH!! <--- (not sure how to spell that havent been to church since i was 5 lmao.) Got on today and logged into my game of DayZ..... I logged out in a tree stand previously..... crawled out of my tree stand and OMFG!!!!!!! WHY THE HELL IS THERE A BUS IN THESE WOODS!?!?!?!??!?!?!?! surely it was out of gas! jumped in it...FULL TANK HELL YES!!!!!!!!! eventually I made my way to the airport/military base in the top left corner of the map, found an AK, but I had almost 100 rounds for my lee enfield..... so screw it why not... bang bang bang zombie bitches!!!! I was sniping Zeds like it was going out of style, found an MP5 and gathered a buttload of ammo for it, and thats when I decided, I ran back grabbed the AK and emptied it out on every zombie in sight..... and right when I was walking back to pick up my MP5 and oodles of ammo, the server crashed.....FML......got back in.... still had my bus thank god.... but my mp5 and surplus of ammo was ghandi 5000.... no existo..........bad karma for stealing someones bus I presume. So even though I was a little angered, I pressed on, luckily found some AK ammo and the AK Kobra with the green dot, and once again I bowed my head and thanked DayZ Jesus ( DayZ Jesus is the coolest internet cat you could possibly imagine by the way) Got in my trusty crusty bus, and started gas hunting, I drove that thing everywhere, and had a freaking blast........I FREAKING LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......... so I take the gravel roads around the woods and come upon a tree stand to the north west of the airbase, just along the left of the road.....got out of the bus to go check the tree stand for supplies...and BOOM.......as I climb the ladder a zombie spawns inside the bottom of the tree stand and one hit breaks my leg.............breaks my damn leg..............I am now in the farthest location from a hospital......with a FU#$&%^ BROKEN LEG BECAUSE OF A MAGIC FU(*&^% ZOMBIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU GOD D$%^ KIDDING ME!?!?!?!??!............................FML So I crawl back to the bus and hop in.....no way I'll ever make it belly crawling to a hospital.......3/4 tank of gas......not sure if I can make it to Electro.......gotta try.....too much time invested in this play through..........how the hell am I ever going to get to a hospital, get a morphine injector, fix my leg, and get out without getting shot by a Bandit???? I dunno.....gotta try....shit just got real. So I got to thinking.... wait.... I found painkillers at a church......possible to find a morphine injector I suppose. Heres the plan...... I drive the bus straight south, checking every town I pass for a church and try to get in undetected, if I get spotted I had an AK, but damn I don't forsee that turning out well considering I can't run......passed 3 churches on my bus expedition. one looked like one you could go in......but couldn't and the other were the Mexico looking red brick churches than never have anything in my experience.........fml Just north of Electro.....gas gauge flashing.........damn......this is gonna be hard to pull off, I know theres a gas station right north of Electro, I've got a Jerry can in my inventory......... I better gas up the bus.... I know flying into town in a bus is gonna draw alot of attention but if I do it right I can use the bus to block the supplies while I fix my broke leg, protect me from snipers, or hell, even occupy them with trying to steal the bus while I fix my leg and run like hell.....screw the bus..... it is now just a tool to get to what I need........ just north of the gas station...check my map.........OH NO BLUE DOT!!! (rifleman). I can see the rifleman on top of the hill, I know im already in his cross hairs do I try to get out of the bus or try to bribe him with supplies... I can see him pointing his gun right at me.... so I hit the chat button and said ,"hey man don't shoot you can have the bus!!!" I was obviously desperate.......I freaking loved that bus.........pew...pew...pew......YOU ARE DEAD!....................................................and thats when I jumped out the window and commited suicide.. ... not really but it crossed my mind. Ok heres the big issue I have with this game, I know its a mod/game in the works and glitches are to be expected....that really freaking sucks......but it is what it is. So the big Issue is.....you should still be able to get medical supplies in places other than Cherno and Electro.... I've gotten lucky and found a downed Heli before, but come one thats just too random and depending on the server there isn't always one on the map......... FIrst of all, there should be a no Bandit mode... im sorry but their should be... I have zero fun with this game with bandits running around, I know it makes it more realistic, but come one most online games have seperate PVP games you can enter if you want that kind of gameplay. as of this point I have absolutely zero ambition to even start a new game of DayZ. the thought just makes my stomach turn. I HAD OVER 20 hours invested in that one guy!!! I Had Almost 300 zombie kills!!!!!! I HAD A GOD DAMN BUS MAN!!!!! A BUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and literaly enough gear to "survive the zombie apocalypse" I had like 6 water bottles, the ALICE pack, and enough canned food and steak to feed the Ethiopian army.... AND I AM NOT DOING IT AGAIN SO SOME DOUCHE BAG BANDIT CAN TAKE MY SHIT WITH ONLY HAVING INVESTED 1 HOUR IN HIS PLAY THROUGH..... NO IM NOT DOING IT!!!!!!!!!! NOT FUN. Another thing I would like changed........You do know the military had medics right......would it be so much to ask to at least spawn medical supplies in the military bunkers or towers??? I mean come on..... why should there only be two spots on the map you can reliably get this stuff? you also think people that live 50 miles from a hospital aren't going to have medical supplies for crying out loud? Small towns don't have Vetrenarians? Make some alternate options to the pain meds you find at the hospitals.. . maybe at the stable type barns you could find Horse tranquilizers instead of pain pills take them to do the same thing as pain pills but you have to spent a couple min in game knocked out lol. Instead of the morphine injector you could find a leg tourniquet in towns..... works like the morphine injector, except you have to wait 10 min real time before you have the ability to run again. I know when you give blood they make you eat afterwards so your body can get to producing more blood.... would it make sense to have your blood meter slowly recharge, but only when its in the green. For infections, you should be able to find antibiotics on any farm - livestock become sick with infection all of the time. IVE EVEN TAKEN AMOXACILLIN ANTIBIOTIC FOR HOGS YEARS AGO!!!!!!!! TO GET RID OF A RESPIRATORY INFECTION! my boss is a farmer.... he gave it to me and told me how much to take lmao. I didn't have insurance at the time. NO MORE POWERHOUSE GUNS IN THE TOWN THAT DO HAVE MEDICAL SUPPLIES!!!!...higher percent of.hand guns over other weapons in the big towns...and higher chance of shotguns and rifles over other guns on farms. seriously what farmer doesn't own a long rifle and shotgun? and then your big boy guns military bases only. make it so the bandits only have access to the makaarov if they want to camp like the little weiners they are. enjoy your macaroni bitches!!!
