Hey all Been playing this game or a while now so should know it has one or two bugs but a little confused by something I use DayZ Commander to launch the game and my settings are as follows DayZ Commander: 0.9.1.69 Arma2: 102591 DayZ: 1.7.6.1 Hide Locked Hide Unofficial Hide Wrong Arma2 Version Hide Wrong Mod Version Always play in public hive servers, at the moment, dont even attempt to log into private servers Over the last week I have been playing and building up items etc, sometimes playing for about 4 hrs in a shift. What is a little frustrating is that 90% of the time when I leave server to go for a smoke etc and then rejoin the same server, I appear to be spawning back on the coast with no items. It is just like after you die Now I know that this has been a little bit of a problem for the game since release but I have never known it to be so regular as it has been over the last week. Is it just that the hive is having a little melt down and as a result this is causing the problem? Have you guys experienced more over the last week? Also, something else that has confused me is that under my settings I have asked DayZ Commander to hide incorrect version of Arma 2 but on my server list along with Arma2 version 102591 I always seem to get other versions included such as 102285 / 102936 / 101480 etc - Do these versions come up because my version of Arma2 and those versions are compatible? Also, even though they maybe compatible, can this cause me to respawn fresh so often? Just trying to eliminate the obvious to reduce this problem Your thoughts?

Arma2 but the option to reinstall via steam install of the game Try running steam as Admin and resinstalling the battleye files Alternatively, you could try by uninstalling and deleting the Battleye folders in the C:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/arma 2 and arma 2:OA folders and going to the BESetup folder that should be in your Arma 2 folders and installing Battleye from the setup file in there. If you are running game via Steam Uninstall Battle Eye within program files Then reinstall via Steam

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling BE through Steam?

When I first started the game, I must admit that I did do it but to be honest, I needed the practice at shooting as I was hopeless. Now I have got to grips with the game and it's mechanics, I don't shoot people with nothing or just a hatchet. I even go as far as to help them now by chatting to them and shooting the sneaky murdering bandit who is tailing them :)

Silly question You are attempting to join servers with same ARMA 2 version and same DayZ version Also, what are you using to launch game?

Good interview - very informative. I for one am very happy they are taking their time on Dayz Standalone Arma 3 Alpha looks superb and if they can use the good parts from that engine, we could be looking at Standalone being a bit special Could it even rival GTA V? :P
