You can add SE16 to the list. Good server that also have waypoints off :) Dayz commander have a nice filter, but its not always 100% correct, so a list with GOOD servers (nice ping, stable etc) with ch and 3rd off can still be nice to have.

Before last night, i had never tried the famous dobry hill sniping, so i wanted to test it. That spot is more dangerous for the snipers than for the victims inside elektro for sure! We killed one other sniper up there, i got shot at two times and my friend got shot and died. All in a matter of 10 minutes on a low population server! Hehe. Was interesting though.

M16 ACOG is my fav one for sure. Assault rifle and mini sniper in one! You cant miss a zombie up to 200-250 meters and it works with nightvision! Also its audible range for zombies is like the other ak's at only 80 meters, compared to FAL, MK48 and M14 at 180. Drawbacks is its hard to aim at extreme close range because of only having a true scope, but its a pretty close range scope, so it works most of the times. Bad accuracy over 300 meters or so.

Yesterday me and a friend was up camping on the big silos in cherno trying to kill snipers up there :) I then got sniped out of nowhere by an as-50. Later my friend managed to kill the sniper and got all his gear. I ran back to him and saw the scope on that as-50 at once. It was a TWS with thermal. As soon as i told him he threw it away since he didnt wanna used a cheat weapon. I picked it up to confirm, tried changing servers and it was still there. I threw it away after that and realized one more had spawned in my backpack lol. So i threw that away too and walked away. Crying a little inside since the as-50 is my fav sniper. Even if i wouldnt get banned for using it, it just felt wrong to do it. Maybe it was karma, cause later i found a m16 acog at the airfield ;D

It can work with organized clan battles. But it must be way simpler than this. Say its 7 vs 7. The two leaders talk to eachother on voip before the game and decide on a place to fight, for example around stary or ne airstrip. One clan on each side. Then the teams have one hour to get ready and position themselves around that area (they can do this on any server). After one hour the leaders talk on voip again and decide on a server. Leaders stay on same voip until all players are ready to begin, and after that they go to their own clan voip and the teams start killing eachother. When all members of one team is dead the other team wins, and they can collect whatever loot they want from the dead team that they have on them. I would enjoy watching that on a couple of streams for sure :D

The game has been more stable last few days. Even disconnects/server restarts without losing gear and rollbacks. But most servers are still not stable enough to risk binding your char to just one. What if that server stops existing? Server owner: "Nah, i dont feel like having this server anymore". Sorry your char is gone, forever. Or if just the server is offline for a few days? Sorry, cant play lol ;P It works in games like world of warcraft ofc, but they have a multi million backbone server system of offical servers. Not user driven ones.

When you fall asleep after a day/night of gaming and a few hours later wakes up crouching by the fridge in the kitchen realizing ive been sleepwalking half asleep/half awake because i was pretty sure i saw someone looking at me from behind the couch in the bedroom with an AK, so i got out of bed in this insomnia kind of state scared shitless, running inside the kitchen and trying to alt+f4 to get out of the game/wake up, realizing im not holding a keyboard. After that you become a bit more awake, grabs a red bull from the fridge and swears never go to sleep again/never going go to green mountain at night again. True story :( After that i started to play a little less, and trying to avoid night servers.

I also noticed this while shooting a zombie inside a military tent at stary with my FN FAL ;D haha. It was awesome when the whole camp came at me bro :) I also got the artifacts around NW airfield and stary ofc, and managed to get rid of them temporary by restarting the whole game once or twice.

That was why i was asking :) You would really have to be a cold cold person to trick someone from the forum like that :) I might trust someone from here too now, hehe.

I swore i would never play night time servers again, cause its getting to me bad. I get too scared and cant sleep lol :) Last night i was logging in, trying to find a day server, I couldnt avoid seeing bright lights and smoke far away in the distance on the edge of the airfield. I couldnt resist, even though it was bad for my nerves.

I do have settings kind of high, but not max. Post proc and anti al off etc. But i dont think thats why the fire is there. And if you found a winchester or shotgun at a heli crash, it must be because someone else left their guns there when the took the good stuff.

This is just a guess, but as we all know its ok to be a bandit in game, cause thats part of the game. But if you lure someone to you in game through the official forum, and he helps you and then you shoot him in the face, would that be considered more of a bad thing morally irl? I would say yes, but then again, there are serious role players out there with a very thin line between reality and in game that would be "in character" even on the irl forums, hehe. Forum bandits someone? Or have we not sunk that low yet.

I think you can only see it for some time after server restart, then it goes away. Its the first time ive seen it in game.

Find the most stable servers and put your tents there. Then you'll atleast have a bigger chanse of them working. I found one server that has held my tent up for over week now with all stuffs left in it even, yay :) (knock on wood lol)

Happend to me aswell. I was logging into cherno and suddenly most of my gear was gone and replaced with other stuff, but i was in same place as i logged out. I also spawned in with a zombie on top of me and panic sign + some weird error message. Got the hourglass while bleeding and died. But i managed to run back to my body and get the stuffs back atleast.
