Except for the millions who played the mod which had bandit skins? -

I don't kill people wearing masks on sight, nor anyone that hasn't committed a murder or robbery in my sight. I've met many friendlies wearing masks. Why would I shoot guys wearing clown mask, trying to have a bit of fun? Or with their pants off, being silly. Its not well established at all dude, thats the problem. Our antagonists KOS, and friendlies don't get to respond, even though in real life their heads would be put on pikes by vigilantes. You've got TO BUILD realism into the game. Furthermore, if a guy wore a clown mask to announce his alignment, i'd feel bad KOS'ing him because hes an honorable chap, letting people know hes a pvp'er. but this is also the problem for guys rolepaying average joes, a lack of identifiable antagonists... -
Constant PVP ruins the fun of this game

I wish they would just announce this is another PVP game so new peeps can send your dumb fuck ass back to the shore just like you send theirs. I also have to LMAO, cause i just wish this forum would take place in person. I'd love to stand directly in your face while you while you attempt to state your intention to brainlessly KOS other poeple who didn't or wouldn't kill you. That would be fucking funny to watch. -edited out the drunkenness. -
No shit, but thanks for the tips. All of them, lol? or just one in one thousand?
-
Nope. They wouldn't spawn anything but leftover beer cans in real life anyway.

I agree and i can't imagine why anyone else would be so cautious in a zombie apocalypse or in a land where goofballs kos for fun. They deserve to die, obviously. -

People feeling insecure about the validity of their dumb fuck bandit COD playstyle? -
Its just an expression of emotion smart guy, but you are on to something bigger. Violence is usually carried out when the ability to communicate breaks down. They don't say the key to a healthy relationship is good communication for no reason. This is why i think my country's policy for zero communication between "terrorist supporting" countries is a result of horrible ignorance. We could probably halt 60% or more of aggression just by dropping off pallets of pamphlets out of C-130s, explaining how we feel about a situation and our perspective. Lol, have you yet considered that "poop" and "shit" are the same thing? ...or that there is nothing wrong with shit other than it being thrown at you. Same with "fuck", is there anything wrong with sex outside of goofy religious teachings, not that anyone thinks of sex when they say fuck... Same with cunt/pussy/vagina or anything else...

Im a little scared, because they've got a LONG way to go before the zombies resemble anything even slightly interesting.
-
That someone else if free to do as they please doesn't mean someone else will enjoy it. They're lack of enjoyment is a legitimate concern... but perhaps not to you.
-
You mean people?
-
You ahve to pull them down to the hotbar and use them from there i think. For notes on paper, just right click and select read.

I somewhat doubt that Dean intended for their to be so few map pieces around.

Explain to me this. How is it better to add small things to the game before fixing major problems?

Programmers generally work apart from texture artists, modellers, animators, riggers, who also somewhat work independently of each other and can submit updates to the dev branch at will as long as they are felt to be stable. The dev branch then gets merged into the experimental in all likelihood. The programmers are likely working on putting piece number 49 into a 10,000 piece puzzle at any given moment. -
Great job OP and your friend for attempting to play the game realistically.

Guy strips down to undies and t-shirt, flips me the bird, dies. Best murder EVER.

Love em man.

How do you know they are bandits?

I was just making a point relating to some of the discussion going on, trying to home in on the root cause. Could your desire for solitary gaming be related to anything else? The forum for kids comment is my feeling about the insults being thrown out when there are real, understandable causes for feeling aversions to friendly or intimate behavior that are being out of ignorance. So much being ego based can make it a little hard to swallow as well, but these are just tips of an iceberg. I do wish their were separate forums for 20 and below, i see tons of incredibly insightful, often hard won information given by adults buried under bs all the time, which is just one reason.

U MAD BRO? Perhaps because i couldn't give two motherfucking shits about your opinion on bandit identification and cant stand going in fucking circles with someone who clearly doesn't give a rats ass about other peoples point of view? The people in Detroit are also still recovering from having a culture of violence due to the massive popularity of gangs in the 80s/90s. We'll see if it changes, lets hope so. Should i wait for the apocalypse or it do now to form the group? Its a little unclear.
-
I think your forgetting that those people would be zombies. Right?
-
We need a new map entirely...and soon. But this is an old player perspective. New players still would want to explore Chernerus. Can't wait for Namalsk and a couple others.

Based on the assumption that you've got children, women, elderly that need care and some other things, yeah. Were not talking about a post-nuclear landscape like Hiroshima and Nagasaki (do a photo search for some sobering images. i did the other day...holy shit... been awhile since i saw those in school) where the land is a barren wasteland with nothing usable. Groups would form around taking care of these people. Theres plenty of food in most places to cover the period of time needed to get set up and secure, security involving in the simple closing of a door in most zombie movies... Weapons are scarily simple to aim in real life for short ranges and would be easy to pick off. (This is why i think 28 days later zombies are an absolute must) What i think would happen is that tensions would be higher. You wouldn't see KOS, but if three guys out camping in the woods, drunk, were pissed off by some other drunk guy they didn't get along with who repeatedly insulted them, etc....
