WHAT HACKS IN BF3 AND COD? I've been playing online games since quake 1, not spotted a cheater except for a few minutes in Ghost Recon and they didn't even kill me. I've been apart of a mass murder 50 times in a month in Dayz, so clearly you GUESS about the amount of people using hacks is wrong. I have 250 hours in BF:Bad Company 2 and 100 hours in BF 3. and a month of free time in COD: MW1. Of course it is if its effecting others in a negative way. Is if your not ignorant of peoples play styles that value immersion. It is if you understand that people dedicate hours/days and possibly months to accomplish certain goals in DayZ. Is it if you understand when humans get endorphin flow. It is if you understand that your robbing people of fun/endorphin flow when you kill them via a cheat that artificially empowers you, even if its just a sniper rifle. The thunderdoming is pretty major and so is killing other people just because they got you fairly. The gun spawning is not worth banning people across games for.

I think i've explained this to you before. Fact: Were playing an add-on to Arma 2, a game released in June 2009 and a mod made for that add-on. Fact: Some people paid money for Arma 2 to play DayZ Fact:There is enough content to let players enjoy the current content longer than other AAA games. When i played CS, THERE WERE NO SNIPER RIFLES, just scoped assault rifles. I never played the version with the Source engine though.

Um no......if sniper rifles were removed, then we'd be playing the same way we been playing for 20 years, the same way that brought millions of people into gaming. These easy to use, one shot sniper rifles are a new thing, only since Battlefield bad company 2 have i ever seen it like this. Except for the Unreal Tournament [1] mod that had only sniper rifles in buildings.

Sniping is fucking up many games these days. Who the fuck wants to sit there and wait for a pixel to move to try and find one. No one does, so they keep moving, which fucks with the mid/close range combat and makes it so going to Cherno and Elecktro, two of the most interesting places on the entire island, is out of the question, IF you care about your character, which people who like immersion do. God damn snipers sitting up there with their fucking dumbshit laser sticks, ending the game for people with a click of their mice. They aim at large hit boxes and the gun automatically returns to center as they they fire with their laser sticks designed for killing hoards of enemy A.I. They don't see grass and they know where you are based on zombie's spawning. They can fucking use triangulation to fucking pinpoint your position. They kill up to 13 people per half hour by my count, getting WHAT exactly from it, i don't know, but seemingly don't mind ending the game for massive quantities of people, like a fucking retard sociopath. I wonder if you even know your gun isn't a gun, the animation your seeing and gun model have zip to do with the code that "fires" the "bullet". So congrats on putting your cursor over the player and pressing your mouse button!

I can't agree more with this. The game is already a horror show in a Steven King sort of way: People murdering each other despite an abundance of canned and animal food.... Would love to see some scary, weird shit, ominous, unexplained sounds in the distance, black helicopters flying off in the distance or using spot lights at night looking for something (would have to be unkillable which isn't realistic, but hey, if you shoot like an unimmersed asshole, prepare to pay the price of being reminded the helicopter isn't a real entity). I'd love to see a Stalker map with Chernobyl at one end of it with all sorts of well made creatures in the middle.

Unfortunately, i think pretty soon the op will find the game unbearably easy. I know i do. Once you learn how to run off the zombies and lose them, they become no more than annoying. Once you know where stuff is, you'll have an assault rifle very quickly and enough food to be fully stocked at all times. Enjoy the difficulty and the fear and tension and comes along with it while you can.

Hes right, this is a horror game. From the other thread, your a dedicated sniper. You play pvp with laser sticks. The mod was meant for role playing as well. He wants more for non-pvp gamers to do/see. Is that a problem? Lemme answer since i know the answer: NO!
