Thank you i will give that a try before deleting DayZ and reinstalling it.

Changeing screens to rule out my screens are not faulty, And i am new to steam, i just ran verify integrity of game cache and it found 1file missing and fixed that. i have just ran arma 2, arma 2 OA, and arma 2 CO. now going to try again with DayZ if that still fails i will have to delete DayZ and reinstall it. This happens on all servers i have try'd joining. other then that i get waiting for host on some other's. Im new to PC gaming and only built this PC a few day's ago so yes with this setup i dont know how to troubleshoot the game. Yet anyway.

I know this is stupid but have you checked to see your not using the same account? mine auto logs in when i start the pc maybe your wife has used your pc and forgot to log out. Sorry if this dosnt help.

I get this problem also ever since the patch yesterday on sixlauncher. Before that everything was fine I can join the lobbys and see the players there but when i click ok to join in the zombie killing fun i get to the last loading screen and it stay's there for 5minutes then everything goes black if i alt tab out of the game then click on the taskbar to get the game back up it stays saying loading. I have tested it using fraps fps counter running and it all seems like the game loads fine but it dosnt change to the camera on my little dude. i can hear myself moving and zombies around but i can only see the black screen and loading in the center.

I didnt even know RAM had drive's. Unless you mean your using a HDD as Vram then it would be as simple to just install the game on that HDD. Im proberly a complete idiot for posting this but atleast i reply'd.

The easy answer is IDK, But then again aslong as your GPU supports the DXversion the game needs to run then im sure it will but with either 1-10FPS or higher depending on how lucky you really are. Dont quote me tho as i have never try'd to run anygame on an intel GPU.

When you load up the game you decide to be friendly or bandit. This will put you in to the server you wish to play on but it will only show you the other bandits in the game no friendly player's The friendly players will see only the friendly players in the lobby like the bandits this will hide how many banditys there really are and make the game a bit more intense as you dont know who is out there. you will only know there is 7 other players playing as friendly or bandit whatever you choose when the game starts up. Even tho everyone will be on the server and everyone could infact meet everyone else bandit or not. i just feel that it would bring a new sense or suspense to the game. Also add some kind of mission/objective for example if someone is under attack you have met in game and you add them as a friend so to speak they can send a radio message if you both have one to call for help. giving you something to do rather then destroy other players non stop.... Maybe have a mission to hunt down bandits and vise versa... the more you kill the harder the game gets as zombie's are more likely to see you hear you and attack you in bigger numbers. Kind of like a most wanted system for the zombie's. This is just a quick thought idea im throwing out there. add to it remove idea's ect.... have fun with it and maybe send to a DEV

A friend and i have come up with a rule. When we see/think a player is near we message on direct comunication also try the mic's on direct comms warning "Identify yourself or be shot" This has saved our life's a few times and saved others aswell. If we see an unarmed player we help them out ect.... One guy had a enfield with no ammo so we decide to give him the ammo he needs and a few extra supplys to keep him going a while. Yes this could of backfired on us and he could of shot us but i stood with my AK to his head while we spoke and made sure we couldnt turn on us. This made us a new friend and i hope he is alive today. Remember the first rule in DayZ "Dont trust anyone" so live by that rule and unless they tell you they are friendly dont shoot them unless they are armed and do not respond. But always keep your guard up and keep them in your sights just incase.

I have glitched under a building breaking my leg by trying to hop over the steps bleeding out and unconcious (for a very long time about 5minutes) Also i have logged out while stood on some wooden stairs in a barn only to log back in and break my leg and get knocked unconcious, Also i logged out and back in while stood on a hill that you cant run up only walk and you guessed it when i logged back in broken leg unconcious.... Im so glad i play with a friend that stabs me with morphine bandage's me up and epipens me now. I didnt server hop nothing we are in the forest ect... my son wakes up so i log off to eal with him. on return this happens everytime.
