The only gore you will see in DayZ is the weird blood animation. It doesn't even look like blood for a start. Also you play Garry's Mod, there is more gore in that than DayZ/Arma.

I think the graphics card you chosen will bottleneck your PC a bit but everything else about your PC is fine.

I thought it was a great feature, it could contain a secret! (It did actually contain coords for deerstands around Chernarus)

I was thinking of some conspiracies for it:

1) It was a warning for World Leaders that a Global Crisis is going to occur.

2) A part of a virus storyline in the game.

3) A type of reward for the player finding a Radio and Rocket inviting them to a Bean party.

Or it could be used for the DayZ Radio Stations.

I personally prefer my first conspiracy. I have a couple of examples of what it could sound like, mainly a number station.

We don't know a confirmed price but I'm estimating it will be around $15-$20. Your FPS depends on your specs. As DayZ is a multiplayer mod, you will get less FPS than playing singleplayer. Your more likely going to have more FPS playing A2 than A3.

It's down to your judgement really. If you think its worth playing the mod now, go for it.

Arma 2 is a great game as well, definitely worth it but, if you're saving for the standalone, I'd wait.

You have to buy DayZ Standalone regardless if you bought ARMA or not.

Arma 2 (needed to play DayZ) is very CPU intense. A good CPU is needed for both.

A medium end graphics card will do Arma 2 nicEly but with Arma 3, I'm not so sure.

At least 4GB of RAM should help too.
