Seems to be the latest code hackers are injecting into servers, most likely have to wait until it restarts to fix it or just play elsewhere (similar to monkey monitor etc)

Run both Arma2 and Arma2: Combined Operations once to complete installation. Download the latest version of DayZCommander from http://www.dayzcommander.com Run DayZCommander and click the "versions" button from the top menu. Click "Install latest revision" under Arma2 OA. Wait for the download and install to complete. Click "Install latest version" under DayZ. Wait for the download and install to complete. Press "Done" to close the versions panel. Double-click any listed server to play. Giving someone remote access to your PC is just asking for your CD Key to be stolen.

They didn't. I assume he just read the suggestion forum and now thinks everything there is happening.

You could try deleting the @dayzlingor folder and re-downloading it.

You just pay once, if you purchase it early it will be cheaper, slowly as more things are added to it (daily/weekly updates) the price will increase.

There is only one place you should be downloading it from and that's dayzcommander.com

It doesn't matter if you only cheated on your own private server. Cheating on BE-enabled servers is forbidden, period. Find help somewhere else.

There are vehicles in pretty much every server although many private hives have added additional ones. (200+ vehicle servers etc) The hive is just the database the server connects to: -All "official" servers connect to the one database, run by the devs, you can move between any of these servers and your gear, location, character etc will persist. Official servers only support the one map (Chernarus) -Unofficial/Private servers connect to their own database, anything you do on those servers will remain only on that server only, admins have a lot more control on these servers (custom loadouts, custom vehicles, custom maps, additional admin tools etc) -There are also some unofficial servers that use a shared hive, meaning you can move between any of those servers. I think all Vilayer servers connect to 'Vilayer Hive' for example. Public hive offers more consistency and persistence but admins have a lot less control. Private hives offers a variety of experiences/maps/settings etc and admins with a large amount of control over there servers but that often results in something quite different from vanilla DayZ and everything you do on that server is only tied to that server. Most people moved to private hives because the additional level of control meant cheating was a lot more manageable.

Personally if I communicate with someone and they don't respond, I will shoot them.

It's your server, you can run it however you like but we aren't going to remove criticism about the server because you don't want to see it. People are free to post their experiences, you can respond and others can make their own decisions if they want to play there or not. Please keep in mind there are plenty of other servers to choose from at your discretion if you aren't happy with how a particular one is being run.

If you stayed on the ATV, you could have turned your wheels towards the sky and reversed and it would unflip after a minute or so. Otherwise you are going to have to wait for the next server restart.

They have been approaching server providers to have servers ready for launch but last time it was asked they didn't have an estimate on how many servers that would be. I'm sure server providers will start selling standalone packages closer to release once they have the requirements and I know quite a few are going to allow existing customers to switch over. Rocket also mentioned keys would likely be released in batches so that they could ensure there are enough servers online. One can hope they have learned from the mod and the issues the hive faced when it exploded in popularity so have a better idea of what to expect and have planned for it but launches are rarely smooth when it comes to popular games so we will have to wait and see I guess.

You can pretty much do whatever you want. You would have to be doing something pretty damaging for BIS to step in and put a stop to it.

Just filter for Origins instead of using the drop down menu.

Your only other option is to join a server and get the admin to tell you your GUID.

Try doing it when in the lobby screen.

You aren't meant to open it, just put the file in your BattlEye folder.
