It's not a global ban, it's an admin ban. You are on the shared community banlist, your best option is to appeal to individual server admins since the CBL is no longer maintained and there are thousands of appeals going back months that haven't been looked at. How to Combine arma 2 full + operation arrowhead

You just install ArmA 2 first and then install Operation Arrowhead into the ArmA 2 directory. -
The full version of fraps won't limit your recording however it will still split your clips into 4gb files. I'd recommend dxtory if you are going to pay for something (with the lagarith lossless codec) unless you have a beast PC the FPS hit from fraps is going to hurt. You can try the free version of dxtory to see what it's like but it will have a massive watermark over the clip. Afterburner beta (with rtv1 compression) is probably one of the best free options available.

The first one isn't a bug, just incompetent admins not updating their scripts to the latest version. I'd love to see improved AI, I imagine that it's very difficult though since it's based on ArmA soldiers. -

If you have database access (which many private servers do) then yes you can change location/gear in the database :/ -
I rate Dxtory the best (with the lagarith lossless codec), awesome quality and minimal FPS hit - also has multi-channel audio options. Fraps is great if you have a beast PC, best quality (large filesize) but the FPS hit is pretty bad. MSI Afterburner is the best free option imo since there are no watermarks etc.

Majority of servers are private hives now so your character won't persist, tick hide unofficial in DayZCommander if you only want public hive servers.

The general recommendation is to migrate over to private hives. Tungle and OpenDayZ are probably your best bet for that. CD Keys are stored in the registry, usually running the steam/game as admin and launching them to the menu will update it. -
