I think we need a Rocket-Time thread, in a similar vein to https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Valve_Time
-
Try right clicking > paste the URL as plain text. I'm not sure if other browsers do something similar.
-
Should auto convert it if you post a link, media tags not really necessary.

What browser are you using by the way, I'm using Chrome and don't have this issue. Have you tried clearing cookies etc? -

Dayz Commander won't let me download the additional maps?

I'm out of ideas then, have you tried using http://play.withsix.com/ or playing directly via ArmA OA just adding -mod=@DayZ to the launch options? -

I'm not sure if you can without reinstalling windows. I don't even know why that would cause a problem tbh. It was just an observation. Two people using D: drive and both have the same issue :/ I meant check maybe in case there is an issue with the directory path being case sensitive or something. I'm not sure if it matters though. c:\program files (x86) or C:\Program Files (x86) as an example, I'd just copy and paste from the address bar in windows to be sure rather then letting DayZCommander auto detect. -

I notice both you and someone else with the same issue are both using D: drive for your installations, I'm not sure why this would cause an issue but maybe DayZCommander is having trouble finding your game installs for some reason, you could try manually overriding the auto detected installation paths or even installing the game on your primary drive and seeing if it still occurs. -

Does it say anything when you mouse over the red triangle? Check DayZCommander is allowed through your window firewall. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/allow-a-program-to-communicate-through-windows-firewall If that doesn't work: Try flushing your DNS (Start > Command Prompt > Type: Ipconfig /flushdns)If that doesn't work: Change your DNS settings to either Google's or OpenDNS, instructions for each are below:https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/usinghttps://store.opendns.com/setup/computer/ -

Rocket said he wants to have localization done for as many languages as possible. "We've made a method to translate it into any language with help of community, so yes :)" https://twitter.com/rocket2guns/status/340765964805218304 -
On the 13th hour.

Can't be July 31st as Rocket is leaving for his expedition to the South Pole then. It's a joke. Please stop sending Rocket death threats.

When I played on private hives (last year, when hacking was a massive issue on the public hive) I usually stuck to 1-2 servers. The last few months I've been back on the public hive though so just join whichever has a decent ping and a lot of players.
-
I'm not saying it's justified but there is nothing anyone can do about it. The only people who can help you are individual server admins by removing your ban from their lists.
-
There is a notice at the top of the pinned CBL topic as well as on the CBL itself saying it hasn't been maintained/updated in close to a year. The CBL page even says there may be false positives on it. There really isn't much more we can do if admins continue to use this outdated list and refuse to listen to peoples appeals. http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/73844-community-banlist/ https://code.google.com/p/dayz-community-banlist/

As long as server admins have the ability to ban players from their own servers this is impossible to prevent. There is no way to stop them from sharing their own bans with other server admins on the internet so I'm not really sure what you are suggesting.
-
It's a text file of bans that server admins have copied into their own server banlists. There is no way to stop them working unless server admins remove them from their own banlists. There is nobody to remove the bans from the CBL because the people who were running it haven't been around for about a year now. It sucks for those who have been falsely banned but their only recourse is to appeal to individual server admins.
-
He is on the CBL. A central ban list that the majority of servers used. The CBL hasn't been updated/maintained for over a year now though and is known to have false positives on it. There is nobody to remove his ban from the CBL. All he can do is appeal to individual server owners to remove him from their own banlists (which they have copied the CBL bans into)

The Community Ban List is no longer being maintained, very few ban submissions or appeals have been looked at since August last year. If you are banned from a server using this banlist, you must contact their admins directly. http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/73844-community-banlist/ This is also written on the front page of the banlist. http://code.google.com/p/dayz-community-banlist/ "This page was last updated on 2012-09-03 banlist is currently not being updated due to serious illness of a team member :("
