Why does the standalone use my Windows username?

Your name in the bottom right on the main menu, that's a text field. The -name=SmashT launch parameter also works I believe. -
It will be in stable today, dunno if that is related to the maintenance though.

Main menu, bottom right. That's actually a text field now which you can edit. -
The server.exe isn't released yet, it just now supports sub-private hives, for example hardcore servers are currently running on a separate shard of the experimental hive.

Doesn't work for me in DayZ. I can get it working using the -winxp launch parameter but then my game will crash if I alt+tab since winxp isn't supported so not a great solution. (I alt tab pretty regularly) There is a topic on the Nvidia forums where one of the mods said they would file a bug report as well as a few different solutions that have worked for some people. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/660137/geforce-experience/using-shadowplay-in-dayz-standalone

I've added some more feeds. A DevTracker I am looking into, there's a few issues I've come across so far: Dev Reddit feeds are easy to import (although there is no context to the posts as you can't see what they are replying to unless you follow the link) so you often get a topic that just says "Yes" and a link to view it in context on Reddit, also multiple posts in the same topic aren't grouped together.Dev Twitter feeds are a little more difficult as their api no longer supports rss so we will either need to use a third-party service to generate them (not that reliable) or do it ourselves, that's not too difficult but web team is pretty busy and are only ones with FTP access.Dev Forum topics/posts are surprisingly the most difficult from what I can see as there is no way to export a users topics/posts unless there is a mod that does this (haven't had much luck finding anything yet but will keep looking) I've been experimenting on my local board, looks like this at the moment. (Forum topics/posts not included as I haven't found a way yet)

I don't think the bugtracker likes .'s in the version #. Easy fix is to join a new server and walk/run/vault through the wall while you are still on the loading screen before buildings render. May take a few attempts.

Not going to happen. The game relies on Steam for everything, you need it to play. They dropped Gamespy for server browser management and now use Steams instead. The game uses Steam for it's anti-cheat (VAC). Updates to the game are all done through Steam's delta-patching system. They are using Steam for anti-piracy and fraud protection. Contact Steam Support about your Steam Account issue.

Please add -port=25007 into your DayZ launch options on one of the PC's. Right click on DayZ > General > Set launch options. The number doesn't really matter as long as it's different from the other computers which will use 2302, 2304, 2305 by default.

Widespread issue, probably steam authentication servers down again, that seems to regularly be the case whenever servers aren't showing.
