BattlEye usually bans within days (sometimes even one day), not weeks. You can verify this yourself by looking at pretty much every major cheat website and their DayZ cheat status or by posts on their public forums. -

Well you can't get banned for using hacked items, cheaters can't spawn them in either afaik, if the ammo count has been modified, just dump it.

Access to BEC isn't available yet, some hosts (Vilayer) allow access to the BEC scheduler file specifically via their control panel I believe but direct access is not available. OP I'd suggest contacting Vilayer, maybe they can remove the automatic 4 hour restarts on your server if that's the issue or alternatively create a seperate scheduled message (if thats possible) to warn of of those two?

If it did happen it would be an interesting dilemma for existing users, I'm not sure what Steams policy is on games that have already been sold later refused classification, new users could probably just buy a key through BIS store or through gifting, third party key sellers etc as they have done for other games refused classification here. I know other games have released a separate modified version for certain regions too, dunno exactly how that would work on a global hive though unless they are all client side changes. Plenty of games have also managed to avoid classification entirely due to lack of enforcement when only available on international marketplaces like Steam so I'm not too worried. I can see where Rocket is coming from though and don't think they should change the game due to the possibility of being refused classification in the future, cross that bridge if they come to it. The comparison to North Korea left me scratching my head though, there's a reason multiple GSP's offer DayZ server hosting here (Aus)

Towards the end of the month for stable probably, I'm sure we will see a bunch of experimental patches before that though.

The functionality is available through BEC however access to that is not available currently. Apparantly Vilayer gives server renters access to BEC's schedular file through their control panel from what I have read so you may find it on some of their servers, other hosts I don't believe so, yet. Filtering restart warn gave a couple of servers with it in the title.

Try verifying game cache, restarting steam, running steam as admin, re-installing Steam. I'm stuck underwater, constantly dying and unable to respawn

Hello, this is a known issue and a fix is on its way. There are several workarounds you can use while we work on resolving this issue. You can use the few seconds you have before the "You are dead" screen appears to slowly move towards the coast each time, until you are finally out of the water. Because the core of the issue is the fact that your character is actually not dead (despite the "You are dead" screen) you can simply wait until your character dies of starvation. Once you are actually dead, the respawn button will become available again. Another workaround reported by the community is the following: 1) Rename your character and restart the game 2) Log in to a server 3) When you get the "You are dead" or "You are unconscious" screen, open the pause menu and respawn 4) The timer will start counting down from 30 seconds 5) During this 30 second countdown quickly switch servers You can always change the beta preference in Steam to play on a different database. The stable and experimental versions of the game each use a different database, therefore if you are experiencing this issue on stable, you will be able to play on experimental. To change the beta preferences, please do the following: 1. Right-click DayZ in the Steam library 2. Click properties 3. Switch to the "Betas" tab 4. Change the preference 5. Close the window 6. Wait for DayZ to update We realize that this problem is very frustrating and I assure you that we are working hard on a solution that will free the characters of all players affected by it. -

A Global Ban is issued by a third party Anti-Cheat Software Engine. No one associated with DayZ can overturn a global ban nor can we appeal such a thing on your behalf. You must contact BattlEye Support if you think you're ban is a false positive. If you know that you have cheated, then stop reading and refrain from bothering BattlEye.
