It was only announced today, maybe Rocket should have spent his time working on a time machine, then he could have told us all months ago that he was going to make a mod that gained a million players in 4 months entirely on word of mouth.

Nobody knew the game was going to go standalone, if it weren't for its huge success, a million players in 4 months it probably never would have, stop acting like they tried to scam you, the mod has reached a point both in terms of player numbers and engine wise where it needs to go standalone in order to improve.

If it's a global ban then you were cheating, tell your story to battleeye support, or better yet, don't waste their time. If it's just a local server ban, then you can blame the admin. Play on a different server. Admins can't globally ban players. -

He is still developing the mod in parralel with the game, so if you dont want to buy the game then just keep playing the mod, they are also going to heavily discount the game for those that get it early in the alpha. Stop expecting everything for nothing. -
DC just before you hit the ground, if you time it right you won't die when you join again, I've gotten away with just breaking my legs, good lot that did in the middle of nowhere though.

There is nothing past the black line but green hills with no grass, although apparantly you can save vehciles there and they will last 24 hours, you can see all the towns on a map, probably closer to 50 then 4

Eat some cows or die then run back and recover gear, wait I just read what gear you have, which is some of the most common in the game so not even worth the effort. -

Allowing scripting in ArmA isn't a bug, it is an intended feature, even if they could "fix" it in the mod, it would break ArmA in the process. -

Sadly it can't be fixed in the mod, still makes it frustrating when it happens, hopefully standalone alpha isn't too far away, that being said the forum is precisely the place people should be voicing their concerns on the matter so that it is fixed as soon as possible in standalone. -
DayZ standalone will use Real Virtuality 4 engine!

I think it was meant to be random so people wouldn't know when it would respawn and get it Immediately, seems to always be 7 days though
