I think it's a bug, it's just random, I went from server a to b to c moving stuff from my tents to different servers and didn't spawn at coast at all. Then later I joined a server and spawned at coast straight away, someone also suggested that it happens if you join a 1.7.2.4 server on 1.7.2.5 but it just seems random to me. -

Stop using sixlauncher, it's a POS. Get DayZCommander Update the files manually if you want the pre-release, the link is on the homepage, put them in your DayZ directory eg: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\addons

To be honest, people are stupid, the majority seem to take the view that because they paid for ArmA only to play DayZ, they essentially paid for DayZ and as such it should be as polished as any other game they pay for. -
Cherno and Electro are the most populated areas, probably followed by nw airfield, starry, balota

You literally download the files from the link on the homepage and replace them in your dayz folder.... I've been using commander the entire time though and also manually updated so that isn't the issue for me

It's happening to many people, sometimes you load in fine, sometimes you get stuck forever, regardless of the versions, it seems to happen randomly even if you are on the same version as the server. ie both running latest version or both running old version or you on new version and server on old, sometimes I get in immediately and then an hour later get stuck on the loading screen on the same server. Is the hive being DDoSd, dayz website is also slow over the last few days?

I'm having issues connecting to most servers, occasionally I get in fine but most are pinging green one minute then they are red the next and i get stuck on recieving data or loading for ages, is the hive being ddosd or something, website is also still pretty slow today. My net is fine otherwise so I doubt it's a local issue.

Let my friend download ArmA 2 CO off of my steam to play DayZ. Our DayZ characters are now linked up with each other.

I threw tin cans at you, then I threw flares I found in a tent, then I tried to respond but only wwwww's came out as I hit the g key, then I alt tabbed to cntrl alt delete it, tried to open the Logitech program back up and eventually restarted, I think I got shot at some point between alt tabs too since I came back bleeding then was bandaged by you I presume? Got killed shortly after rejoining

Well not to well at the moment as I never set up a key to stop to stop holding down w, so I end up with scenarios like above
