    Most likely the false positive a lot of people are experiencing. If it's not though you have absolutely no chance of getting unbanned, can you imagine if every hacker just had to say it wasn't them to get unbanned, there would be no point even have an anti cheat service.

    Admins can't globablly ban players, that is a ban directly from BattlEye, likely a false positive.

    Yes, that's a common issue on most servers, however it can be managed very effectively by having admins monitoring the server logs.

  21. News just in ArmA 3 is using the ArmA 2 engine, I'm fucking outraged!
  22. Sorry but you are misinformed, I assume they misinterpreted Rocket when translating the interview. DayZ will not use the ArmA 2 engine, it will also not use the ArmA 3 engine. DayZ will use a branched version of the Real Virtuality engine, you can call it the DayZ engine from now on. It will incorporate the best elements of all products. Rocket said he is going to take some elements from ArmA 2, some elements from ArmA 3 and some that will be built entirely from scratch and are unique to the DayZ engine. The example he gave was that he wants to use the netcode from ArmA 2 as it's the most stable and it's tried and test. Things like the improved lighting are being taken directly from ArmA 3, and the weather and inventory systems for example are being redesigned from scratch.

Here are a summary of responses from Rocket so far: - Likes the idea of a diary system, allowing other players to see notes left by you. - Likes the idea of fishing being implemented. - A better ammo system, combining near empty clips etc will definitely be supported in standalone and we will most likely see something implemented in the mod in the next couple of patches. - HUD will be removed as much as possible and replaced with in-game elements based on visual and audial clues (think: stomach rumbling when hungry). Debug monitor is already gone in 1.7.2.3. - Waypoints and the commanding system will be removed from the DayZ engine. - GPS maps and nameplates will be removed.
