I wouldn't assume it would, unless you requested a new instance ID, we aren't going to know for sure until it is released though. -
You can try copying the files from your ArmA2/Addons directory into the OA\Expansion\Addons directory, in my case: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\AddOns C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\Addons

I saw that too, I assumed the passenger actually ejected himself and it was just good timing. I could be wrong though.

You will most likely need grenades or an RPG, I don't think it's possible to destroy a grounded Huey with gun fire, which is why you often see helicopters parked on top of Hotel, if they have spare parts on them they can simply repair it and fly off again.

DayZ uses your Operation Arrowhead cd key, all you need to do is run your copy of OA and it will use that cd key. Your friend will probably have to do the same with his copy.

Considering Rocket isn't even in the country there has been a lot of communication, a lot of these things have already been answered numerous times. It sucks, they know it sucks, they wern't even planning on releasing 1.7.2.5 but due to the number of complaints about artifacting they rushed out a patch to try and fix it instead of waiting for 1.7.3. They thought they fixed it, we all know how that worked out.

Rollback 1.7.2.4 or stay 1.7.2.5

1.7.2.5 Hero/Bandits rolling back to 1.7.2.4 are very often invisible, that's a pretty big downside. My regular server is currently switching to Vilayer Hive, we tried out a few others using it, no more issues with yellow/red chain, no more delay with loot spawning, tents/vehicles save properly, can switch between Cherno and Lingor, seems a lot of servers are switching over to this hive, think I read 50 servers are connected to it now and they only started offering it this week I believe? -

From experience they either don't save at all, or they will save and respawn with every item inside each server restart.

They currently serve no purpose AFAIK and it's debatable whether they even legitimately spawn, they may do something in the future.

Currently, you run or find a vehicle. Rocked touched on group play briefly in the Reddit Q&A, he said it is a key design priority for standalone but they need to figure out how they will make it work without disrupting the disorientation that currently occurs when you die.

You can spend hours farming all the loot you want but what would be the point if they are all going to be as equally degraded after a certain amount of time and constantly jamming.

Vehicles do not save on 1.7.2.5 thats why my server runs 1.7.2.4.

There is also an issue with players with hero/bandit skins reverting to 1.7.2.4 becoming invisible. Rocket tweeted that two of the developers are working on a server side fix for the tents/vehicle issue, so hopefully that won't be too far away. -
