It's a bug that happens occasionally, get somebody to come and kill you, I'm sure someone will oblige if you post your location details.

You should be able to just copy the steamapps folder over, shouldn't have any problems with your key, just run each game on the new install once the files are copied over.

Join a server running an older version of the game, when you get stuck at loading, force quit the game, then join a server running the same version as you. You should be back on the beach. Otherwise you can run for half an hour or wait to die from starvation.

I like it, I keep hearing people pronounce it 'Days' though which I found really irritating. 'Day-Zed' or 'Day-Zee' please people.

Black Forest, Black Lake, North map borders and West map borders are the most common, since the last patch though everyone just stores everything near the cities, even if they get found they just replenish at the next restart. Hot tip: Look inside lakes/ponds, trees aren't the only place you can hide a tent. It is a server setting.

Did you guys actually read the post? It didn't say it was coming out on the 6th. It said Rocket was getting back from PAX on the 6th so it definitely wouldn't be before that date. It would be great if it came out today, I think that's pretty unlikely though. -

Your character will not persist across both as Lingor servers connect to their own private hives/database. What goes on in Lingor stays in Lingor. You will return where you left off when you come back to the official Chernarus servers, think of them as two separate accounts. Yes, however, while some Lingor servers share the same hive, many are only specific to that Lingor server, so if you play on a number of different Lingor servers you may find you are starting again each time, it's probably a good idea to stick to one server when playing Lingor. -

You can get out by going prone and rolling or crawling usually, no promises you won't end up with a broken leg though.

That's because it's on a private hive hence the package name. -
I would love to see this, I assume you are using the ArmA editor and not taking screenshots from a helicopter? I do know of this but it doesn't have any buildings on the tiles. I'm not at all familiar with ArmA but there is probably already a spectator mode or camera addon/script that could be used for this in the mission editor. Join a server running an older version of the game, after you get stuck on the loading screen, cntrl alt delete it and join a server running the same version as you.

DayZCommander will be making some changes to their software to allow simple installation of DayZLingor very soon. They are also partnering up with Vilayer to provide faster more reliable download servers for the mod. I love this software, keeps getting better with each update.
