No they don't, once it's looted they're gone until new crash sites are spawned on the next restart.

You can run out, it will take about an hour though. Tried joining a server running an older version then quiting and joining a matching version after you get stuck at loading?

Some air effects and explosions such as helicopter crashes can show up in the remoteexec log, admins should ignore BIS_Effects_AirDestruction and BIS_Effects_Burn, sounds like they are banning for anything that shows up there.

Anyone know if this is possible? I'd much rather be able to set them up for other functions, screenshots, video recording etc but constantly pulling up a menu each time is annoying, have had a look in the settings and can only find mention of a couple of them under vehicle controls.

Nah, they are a pre-assigned function so the majority of them can't be changed via the options, was hoping someone could point me to a config file or something that would allow it.

Vilayer and HFB both sell private hive packages, you are still sharing this hive with the other servers using the same package though.

- Yes, any player can save anything in anyone's tent. - No, when the owner dies and spawns again he is no longer the owner of the tent, the dead character is so he can continue using it but cannot pack it up. - Yes - Yes - I would try and save it at least a few minutes before a restart, can take a few minutes to update to the hive. - OK - Not sure, it's 10 primary guns though, assuming it's 53 items + 10 primary guns based on that. - Tents disappear if you die and nobody uses/takes/replaces items from it in a 7 day period. - Setting up your tent inside a rock/tree can be risky, they sometimes move slightly on restarts making them inaccessible, players can destroy/flatten your tent by driving over it in a vehicle.

So don't play it? It's a community map designed specifically for PvP, stick to the official map if that's what you prefer, personally I found it a refreshing change of pace for an hour or so but it's not something I would play regularly.

I could never play like this, seems extremely boring. The best part about DayZ (IMO) is the player interaction.

Yeh bicycles are great, until you stash it in a tree and have to spend 45 minutes looking for it again, I would still take an ATV over a bicycle any day of the week.

The only vehicles I would take over an ATV are the Escalade (Vilayer Hive) or the Huey, so much fun doing power-slides and very easy to flip back over once you know how.

Dogs are already implemented in the next patch.

In future if you flip an ATV, point the wheels to the sky and reverse for a minute or two until it flips back.

You can't get globally banned by BattlEye but some individual servers will kick or ban for it.

It didn't spawn there, somebody probably dropped it to pick up a legit gun.

Log out of steam then just right click on the steam shortcut and run as administrator. To verify game cache, right click on the game in steam > properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

Did you buy them on steam? 1. Try running steam as admin 2. Try deleting the DayZ folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ Then verifying the AO game cache in steam and running it, before installing DayZ.

I believe Rocket mentioned the respawn button would likely return at some point.
