Impossible to tell with the growing number of players using private hives where stats are not tracked. -
The server I play on (private hive) has a 60 second timer where you remain in-game after leaving, I imagine something similar could/will be implemented in standalone.

The standalone map is Chernarus Plus, an improved version of the current map with more detail, more enterable buildings, a whole bunch if terrain tweaks and even some entirely new areas.

Well it would depend on the server/private hive and what anti-cheat system they have in place, they aren't all the same.

I do like this idea, I think Rocket mentioned the waypoint system was going to be removed entirely though so I don't know if we will see them at all, even with the use of a GPS. -
My first game I spawned out west past Kamenka and spent an hour running into the debug plains wondering where everything was, highlights included following a goat thinking it would lead me to a town and hiding from a pig because I thought it was another player. My second game was at night, it was pitch black and I couldn't figure out how to use the torch, I lasted about two minutes before being eaten by zombies.

Takes me anywhere from 30 seconds up to 15 minutes depending on the server and how long its been since it's last restart. -

You are absolutely right, cheating is a huge problem, you have to remember though that the stats don't track users playing on private servers/hives, of which there are a growing number, many of which are now running Gotcha-AntiHack amongst other anti cheat measures and as a result have very little cheating. -

Just had an epic fight. We took out a heli while it was circling Devils Castle (where we had a bunch of vehicles including our own heli parked) but not before they managed to paratroop a couple of players nearby, one of which was shot North of the castle by our sniper and another who flanked up the tower and took out the two in our group up there, I drove up from Berezino hoping to take out the remaining player and had an awesome firefight at the castle walls, taking out one bandit that came up behind me when I was watching the heli and then another who caught me looting the body, before a third escaped in our heli, despite me emptying my m249 into it, they also took out all the cars while they were making their escape. I survived on <2k blood. So awesome!

Run DayZCommander and click the "versions" button from the top menu. 4. Click "Install latest revision" under Arma2 OA. Wait for the download and install to complete. 5. Click "Install latest version" under DayZ. Wait for the download and install to complete. 6. Press "Done" to close the versions panel. 7. Double-click any listed server to play.

Admins can't teleport, sounds like a hacker.

I think you will find once the issues mentioned (duping, loot inflation, cheating) have been fixed, the fear will return as it will take a lot longer to gain back everything you lost.

It only tracks players connecting to the official hive, so the numbers will drop as more players try out the other maps or move to private servers/hives.

This is why I play on a private hive, the one I am playing on has duping fixed (including food duping) hacking pretty much eliminated, combat logging removed with the implementation of a log out timer, debug/hud icons working together and humanity not restarting, new vehicles, two hueys among other fixes/changes and as a result is constantly full, it was advertised on Reddit which you would think would make it a larger target for cheaters too but so far I haven't had any problems. http://www.reddit.co...t_to_be_played/ There are many other similar privates hives popping up too. Maybe it's best that the mods future/updates etc become community driven so Rocket can spend all his time focussing on standalone, you can argue this is already happening. -
