If you use DayZCommander, just tick the 'hide unofficial' box
-
You can turn it on in the options, however doing so will stop your HUD icons from working (food, water, temp etc) It will eventually be removed entirely, it is only there for debug purposes.

Are you from the future?

Check the private hive forum section, some require you to signup on their website and have your GUID whitelisted.
-
Most people have moved to private hives where a lot of the bugs, duping and cheating have been eliminated and a bunch of new maps/mods are available.

It went Alpha on April 13th I believe. They already had 213 users at the time from pre-alpha, by April 16th there were over 2000 and 5 weeks later had cracked 100k. I imagine there were already people helping Rocket out before Alpha though.

Make a bug report.

Find a good white-listed private hive if you want to avoid hackers, admins have total control, many have implemented fixes so that duping, combat logging and cheating are almost non existent, if a cheater does do something the server can be rolled back a few minutes before the incident took place or your gear replaced after they have been banned, for whitelisted servers, that's a lot of effort for a cheater to go to for nothing. That being said, while some private hives are awesome, there are no doubt many that haven't implemented any fixes, have terrible admins and have just as many issues with cheaters as any public server.

Try the other account now, I tried moving it to the members group.

Interior work in progress screenshots taken from inside DayZ standalone.
SmashT posted a topic in News & Announcements
Interior work in progress screenshots taken from inside DayZ standalone. Please note these are work-in-progress shots, with only basic texture work and initial lighting passes. I picked a random town in the game and took screenshots of a few of the houses. The screenshots are taken on “Normal” graphic settings (medium texture resolution) and are unaltered and uncropped. Our artists have been very busy, methodically going through all buildings in Chernarus and adding interiors. The task can be pretty difficult, when the buildings where made interiors were not considered so it an be a challenge for the artists to make the interiors both look correct and work properly. The village I used to take the screenshot in now has all its buildings enterable, including the sheds. Most focus has so far been on the buildings that are situated outside of the center, but focus now is turning to doing interiors for the city buildings. This is complicated by our desire to dramatically increase performance, and given the scene complexity inside cities we need to balance this with the desire to increase building scavenging opportunities inside the cities. This was really just a very quick drop of a few screenshots, I’ll try to put forward some more screenshots of our artists work in the next few weeks. View on Tumblr -

Seattle #666 I got kicked for hacking when I really wasn't hacking!

Moved to ban appeals and added server name to title so you have a better chance of an admin seeing it. -
I don't know why players immediately trust a random stranger because they said friendly, you have much to learn.

Are we getting DDOS'd or something, taking me ages to even load a page, anyway it's 32°C here today so beach is looking good.

New Standalone Screenshots released
SmashT replied to mattlightfoot's topic in Mod Announcements & Info
Looks good apart from the rubble clipping into the kitchen, one thing I do hope is addressed is the clunky movement indoors, getting stuck in doorwars and when turning on stairs etc -
