#44db1c are the first six digits of your GUID. (A one-wash hash based on your cd key) It's not a ban code. -

It's a valid complaint and one that we all hope is addressed sooner rather then later. Matt & Rocket know about it so hopefully it gets fixed soon. The last week has been the worst I have seen it. It's horrible.

You need ArmA II (You can get a free version albeit with lower resolution graphics) and ArmA II:Operation Arrowhead ArmA II + Operation Arrowhead together are called "Combined Operations"

If you are only buying ArmA for the DayZ Mod, I would wait. The standalone could be out in a matter of weeks at which point the majority of players will likely stop playing the mod and move to the standalone. That being said ArmA is an amazing game itself with many many mods besides DayZ. I'll let the videos below explain why it's so great, they do a far better job then I could.

The error you are getting sometimes occurs if the game crashes. You can try deleting that cfg file and it should replace it with a new one when you launch the game, you might need to redo some of your binds/settings though. As far as I know the server history that is displayed in DayZCommander is grabbed from your local settings.xml file, meaning if you are seeing servers in your history that you never joined, someone else is using your PC to do so. If they "hacked" your account and were using it somewhere other then on your own PC, it wouldn't show up in the history. Bear in mind DayZCommander adds servers to your history as soon as you double click on them so will show up in your history even if you never actually played there.

Streetlights weren't ever added, they were listed in the notes for 1.7.4.4 but removed by Rocket as they didn't fit with the authenticity of the situation. -
Your on the shared community banlist, which is no longer being maintained (hasn't been since August), as such you will need to appeal to individual server admins if they are using this list on their servers. http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/73844-community-banlist/

Question regarding private hives, vehicles, and BE

You can't get players globally banned like that, that's just not how BattlEye works. I don't think you will be able to spawn some of those vehicles regardless but I could be wrong. I believe there are the standard vehicles, non-standard but spawnable vehicles and then banned vehicles. If you try and add a banned vehicle it will simply be replaced with something else or won't spawn at all. That's my understand anyway. There may or may not be some kind of local server kick or ban set-up for non standard spawnable vehicles (I'm not familiar with tools like dayz anti-hax, gotcha etc) but they could easily be unbanned or the restrictions removed if that happened so it's not really an issue.
