Can I suggest one thing, that all bans listed show publicly what evidence was used to ban that person. Look what happened to the CBL, it's no longer maintained, ban appeals aren't looked into and most of the time there is no way for anyone to even find out why they are on the list, as such most admins will refuse to remove them now even if they were false positives because they can't even tell why they were added in the first place. -
Usually you gain nothing for it, if they are really bad you will gain a little though.

Better anti-cheat needed and new player issues

The standalone is using VAC and has been completely locked down so most of the types of cheats we see in the mod simply will not be possible. That's half the reason for going standalone. -
It's impossible for someone else to get you banned or steal your cd key in-game. The only way for this to happen is if you downloaded malware (which steals your cd key) or you used cheats yourself. No idea how long it takes for BattlEye to respond, but they investigate each report.

You don't get banned for no reason, sounds like you have replaced your key with your old (banned) one, probably by launching it via your old copy of OA. 1. No 2. Run OA as admin and it will update to that one.

Cleaned up the thread, please keep the discussion on topic and avoid pointless banter. I'd like there to be more variation in boats as well as the ability to shoot from the back of them. Seriously as if you can't shoot from the back of that slow-ass fishing boat.

Did you run both ArmA and ArmA OA once to complete their installation? Can you join servers running other maps/mods (Chernarus for exmaple) or is this limited to Namalsk?

I used to use a very similar setup back in Quake/Team Fortress days. I couldn't do it now though, would feel so foreign. You might find it easier to open up your profile config, scroll down to the keybind section and remove them that way. Documents > ArmA2 or ArmA2 Other Profiles > Select user Name > Open the Profile file in a text editor. Example "Clear All Config":

Currently no system requirements available You can expect better performance from the game then you got with the mod though.

The admin who submitted your ban is irrelevant, you need to appeal to every server you want to play on who is using the list.

Your only option is to contact/appeal via individual server admins and ask they remove you from their own lists. The community banlist is no longer maintained, hasn't been for months now and as a result there is no way to appeal to the CBL. Even if you somehow got someone to remove you from the CBL, you would still be on every server that is using it until they update it and since no new bans have been added for months, that's pretty unlikely. http://dayzmod.com/f...munity-banlist/

They save automatically, the save option was removed as it hasn't done anything for a while now.
