It'd be interesting to go to the machine shops in Cherno and Elektro to grab drill bits, taps and rapidtap but that seems a little too in-depth I suppose. -

I strongly disagree. SVT40 fires a full sized cartridge fed from a magazine. That and it fits the location a whole lot better. -

I like the idea of weapons having different uses even though they all do the same thing. Having the mosin only able to mount a PU would still leave it viable for shooting fairly long distances (I can shoot accurate enough with irons only with my mosin out of game anyways) without retaining the ability to mount the highest magnification optics available. Save those roles for newer models of rifles that are intended to use those optics, not allow a rifle that is over a hundred years old to use them for the sake of "just because". -

I say "shouldn't" because it's not up to me. I'm only a suggestion. People are allowed their own opinions opposing mine even if they're going to be wrong :3 The balance I was talking about was entirely about weapon performance, not location or rarity. I'm saying there shouldn't (there's my suggestion again) be very many patch notes saying "____ rifle deviation changed from X to X" for the sole purpose of fixing complaining on the forums that something is "too good". I'd like things to shoot where they're supposed to, not have values tweaked to make some rifle have numbers changed to make it shoot off course of where you're aiming. -
The funny thing is that the MP5 is on safe in the game.

There's a problem in your logic. We shouldn't have weapons changed for balance purposes. For a competitive game balance is a good thing, you shouldn't say "Oh, X weapon needs buffs or nerfs" for this game. Just let things perform how they should. Excluding goofy attachments for an old rifle without specifically making a mount sounds like a great idea. -
You're not going to be banned for picking up an item in the game.

It's not that it's hard to make, you're just infinitely more likely to find a rifle before you're set with a bow. Why use the bow when you've found an SKS and a single box of 7.62x39 already?

Keep in mind the rifle was designed and produced far back enough to be a volume fired weapon where if you have enough people aiming at something decently far away a couple guys are going to hit. Give a couple hundred potato farmers a rifle and tell them to hit those guys over there together. The genuine scope is the PU. You'd have to drill and tap the rifle to mount the LRS on it while if you have a mosin with a bent bolt (the standards are straight) you're likely going to have a sidemounted PU ready rifle. -

Mine and my shooting disagree. -
That's the big one. I remember reading a story where a couple guys went shooting and noguns guy takes the shotgun, aims it at the truck 100m away and shoots and is absolutely stunned that it doesn't act like in games when they go inspect the peppered truck. Doom is the best representation of shotguns.

I've always liked the idea of a wallet with ID in it. I thought we were supposed to get attached to our characters instead of run off bridges and jump off buildings to get closer to gear? -
You could if you mounted it way over infront of the receiver. A hokey looking example would be Insurgency's way of showing it. Sure looks ugly.

You're talking about your eyes adjusting to light. The pirate with the eyepatch concept. I haven't had an issue with how it functions enough to notice it at all.

Maybe next time I'm on the roads in between some farmer's fields when I head to my buddy's a little North I'll try to take a picture of some deer or elk if I get to see some. 12+ in a group sometimes, and they all move together. They like to graze in the fields beside the woods. Also I feel the urge to post this one again.

I have tried changing prone and go prone to other keys, and resetting it back to default. I can do anything else like leaning, crouched and the function key actions. Nobody else seems to have this issue.

You're not taking into account one really large thing in nature that you'd notice if you're been hunting or walking in the bush: Game trails. Animals are very lazy. Moose, elk and other animals like to take paths that don't give them an issue. This will lead you to find paths that aren't human made at all that will travel from interesting points, like from an unmaintained road heading straight into the bush to a pond a hundred meters away they drink at.
