...then you did something horribly wrong and are being punished for it.
-
I sure hope it's high on the priority list. I can only hear shooting half the time as it is.
-
The hill at Gorka once had two crashsites literally a 10 second run apart.
-
I'd be more interested in killing the driver if they manage to get one going.
-
That'd be really cool, things would get interesting if you met another one coming your direction. Do you blap them or try to swap with them? Although, you'd run into problems.
-
Reconsider priorities please - we have to be able to report hackers efficiently

It would be nice if there was some system where you could click a button in the menu and it'd have some interface like a bug report where you just type what happened and it automatically does things like say where you were, what happened, who was near you (through ID, not player name) and even better if it's some automated process where it takes common people so they can have a closer look taken at them. Of course I imagine this would take a lot of work to make and is just wishful thinking. -
I'm going to be indifferent to what weapons get added as long as they're reasonable. Finding ammunition that is compatible with some 'exotic Western' weaponry will be hard, using a rifle that is chambered in a local calibre will be king as ammunition may not be endless, but it is in comparison to others. Looking at you, dragunov <3.

I could talk endless hours of all the fun fights I've had in organized matches with ~120 people in a PvP match in Arma2. When you have a combined arms firefight with sixty people per team where you're using tactics and everyone's trying to work as a team as flawlessly as possible everything else just doesn't compare. Going unconscious in the woods, your squad dying, you having to pick up the 148 radio off the squad lead's body to find your way back with explosions and gunfire going all around... Learning how numbers for artillery works and doing fire missions, listening to funny sniper school stories from an instructor as you're playing his spotter... There's truly too many to remember. All of these happening with 120 people and it still didn't feel too crowded. I wish I could get back into that group while they were in their prime again. Hopefully if(when) the cap is raised for DayZ people will spread out instead of the ratio of people in NE corner of the map to the rest being exactly the same. -
I'm just hoping that because it's being made a big thing that this is seperate from anything to do with an Arma engine I will be able to fire an AK from the bed of a truck as my buddy's driving. I'm going to be upset if we get "___ can't be done due to engine limitations"

I wear them daily for working in a shop. They should be resistant to status damage since they're made to be resistant to snagging and ripping. (Unless you've got old ones.)

I like how you're thinking but I'll tell you how it'd play out ingame. You're running to a known area for clean water, your canteen is empty. Stumbling out of the woods you make a beeline for the well. You have no weapons, just clothes and a backpack. As you round the corner, colours catch your eye around the tap. Three men are leaning against the building having a chat as they spot you as well. You throw your arms in the air above your head "Don't shoot! I am unarmed! I just want a drink! I'm willing to trad-" Your sentence is cut short as one of the men aimed their rifle at you and sent a 7.62x54r bullet through your chest. As you lay on the ground staring at the sky the three of them stand over your body. "Hah! Get rekt bitch!" is the last thing you hear before they shoot you once more.

You're implying Battlefield can house that many players at once. You should've said "This isn't Arma." You can go forever along the center to West side of the map on a full server without seeing anyone. It's kind of sad, really. -
9/10 people would disagree with you if my experiences while playing say anything. Honestly people are missing out if they're not trying to interact with people other than throwing a 7.62x54r through their head.

[BUG]Attacking too rapidly will pull out sidearm.

They actually listed it in the patch notes as a known issue. -
Gunning down fedorables sounds great.
-
Bunkers that require light to see in would give me a very welcome Stalker feel.
-
NVGs sure are going to be useful with the servers we have.
-
Rather than a note popping up you could have an audio queue. I didn't mind the magazine loading sound.
-
Of course people can play how they want, but shooting someone before they even know you're there causes you to miss out on any interaction at all. Some of the funniest moments I've had in the game wouldn't have happened if I hadn't talked to a guy before I've blapped him.
-
The dying part doesn't happen because there's a hole punched in someone, the dying happens when whatever surrounded the bullet's path goes through such a violent trauma. People dying from getting hit in the limb is probably going to be because of that trauma severing an artery. Wow does that ever upset me when someone says shooting to wound in the leg is a viable thing.
-
For sure, but that's not what we have ingame.
-
It really needs to take more time for something to become ruined though. Consistently you'll have times where whoops! Zombie lands a hit on you and your vest and everything in it is now instantly unusable. It's like the zombies are carrying knives, grabbing hold and cutting things apart when they quite literally slap you with their hands.

I like the idea of raising and lowering visors, but the visor is clear on the Maska helmet. If you've ever worn a face shield around a shop as an example, a clear visor doesn't hinder your vision at all. An edit that ingame the visor we have is a transparent attachment.

Was a joke, bullets will not cauterize a wound shut. Full sized rifle cartridges like 7.62x54r when overpenetrating will leave quite a noticeable exit wound. Even small calibre rounds will make quite a wound. A piece of metal tearing through a body is still a piece of metal. Especially when something has mushroomed and rips as it goes.
