People don't see a difference between running and sprinting in game. Your movement is either A, S, D, or W+W. Nobody does a standard run ingame because there's currently no reason not to. As long as I could still jog it'd be alright.

No man, They were facing eachother and gear was damaged. Guarantee they had a firefight before we started doing our surveillance of Zelenogorsk from the South hills.

I agree 100% When the SA game out there was one experience I had with a couple friends that can never happen again with the way the game currently is. We arrived at Zelenogorsk to check out the barracks there and found a body in the open. Alright, time to be more cautious. Another body. Another. Another body. There were about six or so bodies there and none of them were touched. It looked like they had a large firefight and nobody lived. Not a single person. All their weapons were there, all of their clothing and backpacks were full. We quickly grabbed what we could and searched for anyone around but realized we were alone. It was an interesting experience and we were wondering just how long ago it happened. Then the 10minute until cleanup rule happened and that'll never happen again.

I expect them to put more of a focus on optics when we have another full sized cartridge "civilian" rifle put in. That or when the SVD gets released.

I've always enjoyed the idea of learning more complex actions through books found ingame or someone "teaching" you through the action menu. Would encourage people who want to learn something to try talking to someone ingame rather than just blap them. The biggest change would make people care about the character above any gear. Wasn't a goal for the developers to make people interested in their character moreso than equipment? You die now and you go "Oh well, time to spend a couple minutes running to the airfield and I'm geared up already." Give yourself a reason to want to live ingame. That or I can play it like Arma except I'm killing people who aren't equally armed as I am. -
What's typically the case with my friends is if you can't see the furniture or magazines on a rifle ingame you won't hear it shoot.

Good lord that'd be hilarious seeing piles of stomach acid and food lining the floors of the popular buildings of towns.

Life jackets provide sufficient protection from 7.62x39. You say there should be some variety from the military vests and such to avoid everyone running around in military equipment, but remember everything is valued at how much it can hold. with some exceptions to looks. Nobody's going to keep their high-vis (or even wear one) when they find even the most basic chest rig. Not that I don't like the idea of course, the more variety to how everyone can look the better.

I've made friends ingame that I've been talking to on TS for over a year. I'm saying that's what nearly all of the interaction in the game is.

The 'interaction' in DayZ is plugging people at first sight.

That shouldn't be an excuse. I thought the whole idea was "we go make this game on a different engine so we're not limited with the Arma engine".

There should be absolutely minimal 'balancing' done to anything in the game when they function properly. If something is objectively better than another simply because it is, then all is how it should be. Understanding how mil dots work, I prefer the PSO. So nice and easy if you're targeting anything but midgets. -
When plinking on crown land I can easily make out shooting that's nowhere near. It won't have the crack, more of a windy sound. Chernarus is more mountainous/hilly than this, I'm sure they'd be just as if not more audible.

At a popular point of the mod I was in a group or so of twelve+ Was fun doing humvee convoys and Mi-8 drops.

Rivers with currents would be interesting. I really don't want more towns. Especially no more cities. It's getting to the pretty close to the point you couldn't get lost in the woods anymore. Thicker forests would be nice.

I'd really enjoy a RO2 mechanic where simply having a windowsill or a wall or tree or literally anything to rest your weapon on or against increases your stability. Worked out well in ACE and RO2.

Yep, makeshift compass. That and watches or NVGs were collections I made from people in the mod.

You may not know this guys, but there's a movement speed for jogging in the game. I've never seen anyone use it though. All you have to do is hold W, if you double-tap it this won't work. I'd enjoy jogging giving 0 negative effects with sprinting dehydrating you much faster or even something like an invisible stamina bar specifically for sprinting though. Sprinting should be reserved for emergencies.

:DDDDDDDDDDDD It's a fairly old Finnish expression. Spurdonese. Anyways, have you guys seen the workshops they craft these in? It's pretty crude. A great example of their technology are the "Hell cannons" that precisely launch their large projectiles up into the air to land where they please. My favourite is where they fire in the direction of the opposition for the camera to watch it arc over and directly hit a mosque.

Gear down you two, that's only one part of the cartridge. Anyways, it has always irritated me. There are three very clear differences between the two Now, it'd please me greatly if someone would take the five minutes to rename it to what it should be called, hint hint. <3
