My first bandit act after 3 months (Not SOS crap)

Maturity means that he won't call out blatant lies? If the OP hadn't had said that he had a video of the whole incident, or claimed that it was true (when it's obviously a work of fiction) there would be no issue. I have no problem with people telling entertaining stories on the forums, I start to have a problem when people start blatantly lying about their experiences and passing it off as true. The response to the story has nothing to do with it, if someone got on the news and said that AIDS had been cured - but it was a lie, no one would say "Why would you expose the truth...? It got such a good response!". There is no "but then again could have happened", what I'm trying to get across...is that it literally could not have happened, and anyone who's played Breaking Point for more than a few days would know this immediately. I'm not exactly sure what to sort out - I simply speak the truth. If you're mad because I pointed out the inconsistencies in OP's "true" story...then that seems like a you problem.

My first bandit act after 3 months (Not SOS crap)

First of all, there was no SUV minigun fix. I fired it YESTERDAY, and it's still broken, no hits on ground, zombies, or trees - and there is no fix in the Breaking Point changelogs (as seen below) There are no premade bases on the map in Breaking Point that look anything like what you've described - the only thing comparable would be Klen, and there's no "towers", nor anything you can climb. Towers cannot be built, and the other base's towers cannot be climbed - the "base" near zelenogorsk is not even enclosed. In fact...none of them are enclosed. Even if you mistakenly called a pre-made base, a player base. There is NOTHING that can be used as a ramp by an SUV, near any base. All breaking point servers are on the same hive (and you cannot pay to have a base made) so whatever base you're describing would be on all servers. You were caught in a lie, you tried to defend yourself instead of just admitting you bullshitted a forum story. You're shifting attention away from this supposed video you have of the subject, by saying you don't play breaking point any longer, and that you'll be posting content of other things. 3.1985 -Improved Server Preformance (If Low server preformance is detected an extensive cleanup is preformed) -Removed Drive Stun mode from tasers due to the excessive unnessesary network events and issues. -Fixed Client side Buildings Killing you on login. -Improvements for player login. -Reduced Mission File Size. -Fog Disabled Until other improvements and bug fixes are made. (Switching Skin to disable fog, FPS Issues etc) -Aircraft Carrier and Oil Rig are back. 3.1984 -Fixed Characters falling from the sky on login. -Fixed Characters spawning in water on login. 3.1981 -Improvements ( Loading Character Data, Black Screen, Waiting for character to create) -Improved Server Cleanup Script (Less Lagg Maybe) Yay! -Fixed Some issues with objects not syncing correctly. -Fixed some issues with Arma Electrical Grid Implementation. -Fixed Missing Content useg_rig_a error on login. -Anti Combat Logging System (Character will remain in the world for 45 seconds after logout) 3.1977 -Removed Dedicated Server Control Panel and Shift + P -Fixed Respawn Exploit -Fixed Abort Exploit -Removed Player Name + Rank From GUI Menu ( Anti Stream Snipe ANY UPDATES BEFORE THIS ARE WEEKS BEFORE THIS POST - and they do not fix the SUV gunner

My first bandit act after 3 months (Not SOS crap)

178 posts, and like...178 beans. All my posts were about 6 months ago or more, when I was actually active, and DayZ was really alive. You have 110 posts, 48 beans, and I've never heard of you. What's your point? Do you know everyone on this forum or something? I don't need to have 1000+ posts to call bullshit. It literally could not have happened the way he told it. He killed 8 clan members from INSIDE their base, from a stationary, slow-moving turret...(that has NEVER worked.) You could shoot the SUV turret at a tree, and no bullet hole will appear. Fire 1000 rounds into a zombie, and he won't even notice. But he killed 8 clan members with it? Even if you disregard everything else, that's a HUGE inconsistency, and it makes everything else he says immediately suspect. It's a story, that he embellished to the degree of complete fiction. The video will never appear, by the time the month is over, he will have hoped no one was paying attention to this post anymore.
  5. ASYLUM I'm not going to give you the same spiel you can find on all these other posts, I'm simply going to tell you the truth. In the Asylum, we deal mostly in sociopaths, bandits, murderers, thieves, and all other manner of irreputable company. We're a mature group with the median age being around 21. We are on around the clock, and have members from many different time zones. We're not some huge behemoth of a clan, in which you will simply be another face among many others, we're small enough that we all know eachother well, and operate as a pretty tight-knit unit, not a group of semi-strangers. The average skill level for the group is fairly high, a lot of people wouldn't be able to make it just on the merits of their skill, but we're not looking for people who participate in gun fights, we're looking for people who turn the tides in gun fights. We're looking for the people who see themselves outnumbered and outgunned, and think "This should be fun." We don't require you to be the best of players, nor do we look down on you if you die, or lose. We're looking for people with a "I may die, but I'll attempt to take as many with me as possible" attitude. We're looking for people who, for whatever reason have irreparably damaged their DayZ moral compass, we're looking for people who don't mind being deceitful, ruthless, relentless, and unforgiving. We're looking for people who couldn't care less about their gear, they need to recognize that it's not yours...you've been lent the gear by DayZ, and sometime soon DayZ is going to take it right back. Same with vehicles. Use it, and make sure you've had your fill, because eventually - it will be lost. We shoot enemy players on sight if they are armed, but sometimes we opt to play with our food first, that is simply the type of place this is. We're a cool group of guys, we laugh, we joke, we have a good time, talk about things that interest us, and occasionally attempt to commit server-wide genocide. No one likes squeakers, and we're no exception. We're looking for 18+, but we'll settle for 16+ if you prove that your maturity is at an acceptable level. The clan is not strict, you can show up when you want to play - other than that we have no stringent rules. We do require that you do not be in another clan that plays the same Mod we play on mainly (breaking point) because that would too easily devolve into a conflict of interests. We have a (loose) military ranking system, and the way to move up in status is through shows of leadership qualities, and masterful performance in the field. We usually run in groups of 3-6, anything more gets clunky and confusing. We're a fairly new clan, but many of us have been playing together for weeks, and can attest to each member's skill. Uniform: Ghillie suit for sniper team, Terrorist clothing for assault squad (Black character model preferred...makes it easier to distinguish teammates when not on operations.) Things we like to do: Take over, Purge, and Loot NWAF using all manner of nasty tactics, vehicles, and prejudice. We practically live around the NWAF/Stary/Zelenogorsk area. Killing everything that moves, including animals. (especially goats.) We don't really do coastal city take overs as much, it's not that fun taking out squads of bambis with lee enfields, pistols, and ak-74's. Every once in a while we do it though, usually in groups of no more than 3. We never have need of better gear, or vehicles. When you play the way we do, you just end up with everything you need. My first bandit act after 3 months (Not SOS crap)

Ok...only a few things wrong with your story... 1st - the armored SUV machine gun doesn't work - and it never has...so how did you "light up" 8 people with a gun that shoots blanks? (We'll get to the killing 8 people inside their base...from a slow-turning stationary turret a bit later.) 2nd - a well-geared, well-oiled group in zelenogorsk...with a base...mechanized fetch squad...and they were simply talking over game chat to each other in the middle of a now populated area...instead of using some voice program? Unlikely. You creeping within the 75 meters required to hear them...while they are at zelenogorsk grocery with the only cover being...well...nothing...even more unlikely Them talking about their base coordinates + both of those other factors? Seems legit. If they were talking in comm and the guy had his voice button (caps lock) to the TS....it would echo horribly and repeat...and I'm guessing someone in a team of 8 would have said something about him talking in direct and TS. Unless...he switched it for those couple seconds, and switched it back...because people do that. Right? 3 - you simply just....hopped into their group? And they didn't notice you? More believable if you just snuck in the back while they were moving out and they went right to the base...but you hopped out and helped in a gun fight? when every group does the "who's this next to me" kind of thing, and you just said nothing? Esp in a gunfight. 4 - You tased their guard...and then "hopped" down...not sure what that means...if you mean you climbed the ladder down - you would have been dead. And this well organized group, then kills their tazered guard (who they couldn't have known was tased unless they were using some other voice program...since you can't talk in comms while tased) so assuming he got up and relayed what just happened to him, and told his position...they wouldn't kill him thinking he was you...since he would have already stood up, and told them where you'd gone. If he was talking in comms he'd also tell them you'd climbed down the ladder - and they wouldn't kill him when he stood up. 5 - Basebuilding in breaking point hasn't worked correctly in like...well....ever. So...I'm not sure how they built this amazing waste-land like base...with...a...."ramp" that you used to jump out of their base....after sitting.....motionless...in a gunner turret (of a gun that shoots blanks) and supposedly killing 8 guys from that turret...when it turns so slowly that it would literally take you about...oh...10-20 seconds to switch targets....they just ....you know...didn't kill you - even after you took out 5 guys in a row? They just sorta stood around? This whole story reeks of imaginative embellishment, and outright lies. Entertaining, but lies all the same. SEEMS LEGIT.
  10. breaking point is back up - and so are we
  11. We likely won't be too active today, we'll be around after the patch fixes breaking point
  12. A lot of you new recruits should just come into the TS instead of messaging me, I may not be there to greet you - it's a busy time atm

  14. I'm with a group BloodBath and Beyond, which seems to fit exactly what you want. We usually play with anywhere from 3-8 people (only go 6+ for large scale operations...like mechanized NWAF take overs). We are extremely aggressive, bloodthirsty, and crafty. We have multiple camps across multiple servers, and multiple vehicles across multiple servers. We're a chill group of guys, median age around 20. We're looking for mature players, not 14 year old squeaky, trigger happy bambis. We play breaking point almost exclusively, and when we're on our A game? We take out 5-6 man squads without even one casualty. The average member skill level...is fairly high - we expect that. If you show that your gun skills are on par with other gun stars, and you show that you're good to have in a firefight - you'll move up the ranks pretty quickly. If interested hop on the TS, and I'll talk with you. crimson.typefrag.com:43005
  15. "His enfield was out of ammo too" so...your "greatest bandit attack" was killing two people who had no ammo for their guns? Impressive...
  16. So....what you're trying to tell us...is that...1. There were 3 pistols with ammo lying in the grocery store 2. You went outside and killed a guy (likely his teammate) with a revolver, after he was shooting off an LMG - and then walked back into the grocery store...with no ammo...and didn't die immediately to the guy with an enfield at the ready. 3. you switched to another pistol that was on the floor...while being in the grocery store with a hostile player...and got like 2 shots off. 4. then switched to ANOTHER weapon that was on the floor, and then put two clips into this guy...who...by your description must have been afk not to kill you?

    Electros Most Wanted - Recruitment

Good group of guys, chill banditry - always a couple people playing. Once you play with our group, it'll just feel boring to play by yourself, who doesn't want a competent team at their back? anywhere from 3-8 man squads, fully geared, prepared, and each with a role they fit well. If you're (preferably 18+) and tired of lone wolfing, come join us, see how you like it.

    General Warning about a clan

Just setting the record straight. Diablo, you didn't get kicked because the leader was power-tripping (which I don't understand...why it's a powertrip when it's his choice whether you pass recruitment or not...and you didn't) He kicked you from the TS because he asked you to leave, and you refused repeatedly...saying "calm the fuck down" and "just fucking wait". You were removed because about 3-4 people came forward and complained that you were horrendously annoying, and very tedious to be around...which is a reasonable complaint, it's not in the best interest of a clan leader to invite people that don't mesh well with the group. So. A couple tips for the future: 1. Don't talk so much, you don't need to be talking just to fill the silence, and trying to improve on and finish every funny thing someone says...it gets old. Fast. 2. You're not "that funny guy", and I think you're the only person who doesn't know it. 3. Stop trying so hard, all those awkward silences after you say something should be an indication. 4. Stop telling us 10 minute stories, with absolutely no relevance...point...or climax, just rambling. 5. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. That gets old faster than the talking. 6. Don't throw a temper tantrum and do childish things like link the TS in sidechat after they kick you, and make posts like this. You didn't make it into the group, it was no one's fault but your own...acting like a brat isn't going to fix it.
  20. What I'm looking for: 2-4 guys who can be anywhere from Aggressive players to full on sociopaths. I'm currently playing breaking point, and I find that the majority of people I team up with in-game are either sqeakers, or absolutely useless in a gun fight. I'm tired of carrying 14 year olds, and groups of pseudo-bambis. I want a mature (18+ preferred, but you're fine as long as you're 16+ and don't squeak) group of like-minded gunslingers who know their way around the game mechanics, tactics, base and vehicle maintenance, and most of all - know their way around a gun battle. If you have a clan or group on breaking point that is like this, I'd be willing to check it out - if you're interested in playing with me, then send me a message. My play style: I tend to do whatever I feel like doing at the moment, some times I feel like being friendly, and possibly lending out a helping hand to a stranger. Sometimes I feel like murdering anyone I see, regardless of how out gunned, out manned, or out vehicle'd. I don't care about gear, it's fun to have a flourishing camp, and vehicles, but when it comes right down to it...they're there to be used, and I plan on putting them to use. I don't care if all I have is a taser and hatchet to my name, I'm slapping that thing into drive-stun mode and going out and chopping down some family trees. Trust is always an issue, and I'm letting you know now...I won't trust you in so much as I don't have a 1 - 4 bases you don't know about, or a couple vehicles stashed somewhere. Rule #1 is never put yourself in a position to be royally screwed. I won't. If you want to try and betray me in the field or something? fine. But I'm more valuable watching your back than I am for my coyote backpack and m14 AIM. Though I'm unlikely to trust you fully until you earn it, at least you'll always know where you stand with me. Honesty is the best way to build a lasting bandit compact. I have good eyes, good ears, I know when to keep my mouth shut, I'm not some socially inept basement dweller, and I put holes in more necks than tracheotomies. Skype: MATTTHORNZ
