Sometimes if it spawns me across the map from my friend, I just head straight in that direction and all I stop to loot is maybee a barn or 2 whats in my path, and maybee a deer hut or 2, and actually enjoy seeing what I can aquire by the time I reach him, Like on this life im on now I got a sniper, an M4 AIM, Revolver and loads of food and drink, He had a map, compass and watch for me. But then other times when I cba I will no doubt let the zombies have my beans, They can even take the empty can if they wish. Dissabling the respawn button wont make the blind bit of difference

tents are pointless right now as the game stands because as soon as you leave the sever anything you had will vanish. We dont even bother with them anymore, Unless its to rob someone elses :D

you sure you wernt kicked for being idle for too long, Because as your describing your intent, you may of been sat not doing anything for long periods while waiting to snipe someone, because it kicks you for being idle. Try and rejoin

I been playing it for 2 weeks and had 2 dreams about Dayz, My partner said I been talking in my sleep about spawning and stuff. Gonna have to calm it down on this game me reckon

Yer I watched an Interview with Rocket on You Tube today, He said he took them out because they where way too laggy, But weirdly all road vehicles are also laggy as hell but they still in the game, Think he said he bringing them back when its all fixed.

Listen mate the map is very helpful as I can see quite a few spots where Ive found them, Obviosly they not always there but they do eventually spawn in those spots, As others have said it gives new players a rough idea where to look. So yer its very helpful.

Mad arnt ya, Straight to the NW airfield is just an instant death and a wasted hour or more journey, bare in mind you need to loot food and drink on your way, Theres not even any point in going there tbh, you get all what spawns there at crashed choppers and deer huts, It really is a wasted journy, But if you want extreme tense moments and excitement then by all means go there, it certainly gives you that feeling when you see those dirty grey walls surrounding it. Ive died enough times there that its just not worth it.

Yesterday for instance I died in a pickup truck explosion, and my friend survived, I knew where we go to meet. So I spawns near Elecktro on the coast, headed straight into the forrest as its just a suicide mission going into cities, first barn I come to I find a CMZ with tons of ammo, Some food and a water bottle, Then the first dear hut I got a 24 slot Coyote pack. Then the deer hut where I meet my friend I got an M10 shotty, He had picked up my map, compass etc etc so was all good and well within like 15 minutes to half hour. It dont always work out like this though, theres been many times Ive spawned and carnt even find an empty can :(

My friend found an ATV the other day and we had it for like 2 days until a server restart screwed us, Then yesterday we where heading to Polana and across the town up on a hill I spotted a white pickup truck, It had 2 full Jerry cans inside and was half full of fuel, we dicided we would go look for chopper sites, drove right upto the north east of the map, found 1 chopper, a few tents with a DMR inside, loads of cooked meat and bloodbags, then we changed our mind and was gonna go around the outside of the map to find someones stash, bumped into a tree ever so slightly and the truck exploded, I died but my friend managed to get away. Yes course they are in the map but you gotta be very lucky like we where yesterday to find one, especially with a few Jerry cans inside,lol. We found it in the middle of nowhere pretty much, it stood out for miles as it was white and up on a hill half way up. Good Luck

Sapphire OC Dirt 3 Edition HD6870, Fairly cheap, dual fans for excellent cooling, quiete as a mouse and everything maxed on Dayz and pretty much any game you throw at it. Got mine for like £150 new from Amazon. There ya go, But this is the Deux Ex OC Edition and is a little bit cheaper, you wont find a better card for that price http://www.amazon.co...43165520&sr=8-2 Oh and I play on 1920x1080 I dont know what the guy above going on about, A GTX570 should very easily max everything in Dayz, and the post process thingy, that setting is no good anyway as it puts a horrible blur on the graphics, turn that off and everything is crisp, and I have max AA too. Never drops below 60fps. In fact I think this game is more CPU dependant more than a gfx card, I could be wrong I dont know.

When you say they got me, where did you see someone and was it the sniper you seen, as Ive tried pausing it and couldnt see anything. Ive been sniped at twice in open fields, and if Im being honest I have no effin clue where they are, I can hear what direction the shots are coming from, and I think I know, so I run in the oppositte direction zig Zagging then suddenly I get blasted by something that is pretty close, its either his friend or he wernt where I thought he was and he switched weapons when we got closer. But Nar I can never find them before Im dead.

I wouldnt know, I had a night vision Fal the other day, put it in a tent as its pretty useless without a set of NV Goggs, and what do you know, Our tents have dissappeared. Gonna check see if they are back today

Firstly, Stay away from those airstips if you want to stay alive, Its brutal. Plus you dont need to go there in all honesty, Whatever spawns there will spawn at Heli crash sites and deer stands anyway, If you go the airfield mark my words you be picked off by a sniper or mowed down by a clan who dont leave that area. Also stay out of the big cities on the coast. The supermarkets have all the survival gear you need, The barns for a starting weapon and then go loot the deer stands and look for Heli crash sites. Good to ya !

In my early dayz of playing last week, I didnt have a clue what I was doing tbh, so I thought I gotta try being the bird and hopefully people wont shoot at me non stop, It dont work at all. This game is ruthless and ruthless it should be, Trust no one, be it man, Woman, Pig or Goat. In fact Im pretty sure I seen a goat up in the trees above Cherno wearing a Ghillie picking people off on the rooftops, I bolted the oppositte way and now after that I trust nobody believe me.

We all know those Americans love a hack/glitch or 2, for some reason they think its cool and funny. Im British and would never join a non european server due to the huge ping, and as of yet Im yet to see any hacking going on in EU servers, but as soon as I do I be gone and into another. Touch wood I dont see any today after ive posted this. Ive got a few good servers now on my favs so shouldnt be an issue hopefully.

It happened to me and a friend all day yesterday, We learnt not to leave valubles in them anyway but its not the point, However my friend left a tent in middle of open field the other day and dissappeared, but while crossing the field yesterday he said theres a tent, and he immediatly said thats mine, I bet theres nothing in it, Low and Behold he was right, so they do re appear. But...... We carnt really complain as it is just an Alpha, Yes we can be annoyed and frustrated at times but we gotta expect this, all we can do is post in the bugs thread and hopefully it will help the dev team and give us a fantastic final product.

You can quite easily sit away from the chopper and let them spawn, just watch them from a distance move out into the fields creating plenty of space for you to crawl your way to the site, have a good loot around and then crawl away, simple ! Hope this helps, If you do decide to shoot them I suggest you make sure you leave at least 1 alive, as I believe that will stop another spawn, just drag him into some trees and lose him, then make your way back. Should be good to ya ! P.S Grab me a pair of NV`s while your there plz if its not too much trouble.
