Yep, if your running a multicore CPU, ie quad or above then yes, windows 7 parks 2 of your cores by default, to save on power or some bullcrap, all you need to do to check is go to task manager, click performance tab, Then resource monitor, and in the CPU box, look down the right side of the graphs of all your cores, make sure theres none that are parked, if so then look on you tube, search windows 7 core parking, and a guy shows you how to dissable it, its simple.

I got the same card, Dirt 3 edition Sapphire 6870 OC version, and I can max everything and runs perfect. But yer Im pretty sure this game like others have said is more a CPU and Ram muncher, I have a AMD Bulldozer FX4170 4.2Ghz and 16G of Corsair Vengeance, Runs sweet as a nut. The 6950 should easily run it, its gotta be either your Ram or CPU, Make sure windows dont have some of your cores parked, as windows 7 does this by default, but you can dissable it by changing some values in the RegEdit, youd have to google it.

I needed some for 3 days, all I did was camp berezino and kept checking the hospital and on the roof and eventually just got some today, what a relief, Im in a ghillie with a lot of good stuff, so the coughing was a nightmare, I also just found another box about 30 minutes ago, But I trust no one in this game so you have to get some yourself, I just thought id pop in the thread and share my understanding of how much an annoyance the Flu is.

Are they deffo still in loot areas, Because when I first started playing ths game a few weeks back I found 2 of them at a crashed chopper, That was on patch 1.7.2.2, Me or my friend must have looted about 50 crash sites since then and not found any, Its always either a Med box, AS50 and M107, M249 SAW, FN Fal and FN Fal Night Vision scope. So we are both wondering, do they still spawn at crashed choppers or has it changed, if still in the game at all. Cheers !

Yer id only been playing for like 2 days, the first chopper I found had 2 pairs, so my friend got one, we logged out near a barn further away so we could eat our lunch, logged back in a while later and got killed pretty much straight away, never found any since.

well when I found those 2 sets ages ago they where just stood up on the ground like binoculars are when u find those, and I dont usually search dead soldier bodies because its always the same stuff like, ammo, or chemlights etc etc. But now that means I gotta start shooting the Zeds that spawn from the choppers, and thats not a smart thing to do if Im being honest, Maybee I try get them to spawn and snipe the pilot ones with the helmets on, wait for them to move around then move in.

The wannabe Forum mods piss me off more than the hackers at the minute, My point was that, Instead of jumping down peoples throats for creating threads that you dont want to/or are sick of reading then just dont read them, Like seriously, Just leave them alone, They are frustrated, Angry and pissed off to the back teeth theyve lost a lot of hard earned loot and a life theyve spent so many hours playing, so to me, wether you got Volunteer forums mods on here or not, Its just not gonna stop people from venting their frustration. That is clear as day as is proven by the amount of threads about it. So again dont bother yourselves. and Yes people know they carnt do anything about it while its in mod phase, People are still gonna creating hacking threads.

Its happened to me a few times, its usually when Im trying to find a daylight server and then I get in a game and it brings up the scoreboard and says in bottom corner ive been killed, Ive not however got the nasty You Have Been Killed red writing on the screen, so I get in another and its spawned me on the coast as a noob with all my shabang, Its not really a problem as long as theres no one around waiting for new spawn, Just dive into the nearest forrest and get those walking boots on, lol. It does suck though

I was watching 2 ghillie guys from about 1000metres in the dark last night, I saw some smoke as I was approaching from the north east side of the NW airbase, then I noticed it was a chopper on fire, about 3 burnt choppers around it, with a live one that the blades where spinning on, so I zoomed in with my AS50 and watched 2 shillie guys just hanging around it, I took a few shots but coulnt see where I was hitting, so I just proceded to watch them messing around, I have no clue what onj earth they where doing, But they where obviously hackers. Im just pleased they wertn ones that could teleport or see where I was. I was going to record it but I had severe shakes from the Cold and losing blood because of it, Was an intresting watch though.

Dont even bother trading, Keep what u find to yourself, you killing all the fun of this game for yourself by not earning stuff yourself. I dont get it tbh. If you aint got what you want/need, Keep looking ! I will say it again " Trust No One "

Other day I find my first Ghillie, I have a DMR. Some hacker teleported everyone to a blank field, so me and friends quit immediatly, Upon logging back in we where put on the beach. So I was in the treeline running along the railway lines towards Berezino, I see this guy sprinting along the coast, about 500 metres or so, I just couldnt help myself. I know its bad and probs wouldnt do it usually, and probs never again. For some reason I just got this urge with a grin on my face. Sorry to whoever it was : )

Yer, Leave it alone, Someone planted one near the NW airfield the other day, I was on a new spawn heading north to meet my 2 friends who survived, One said " Hey I found a black SUV " so he picked other friend up and started heading south for me, Then they where teleported out of the jeep and into a forrest where the where shot in the back. Leave it alone.

Nar I dont play in windowed mode, To see my desktop I just hide in a tree and ALT Escape, simple. But I do get those artifacts quite often. Changing from Very High Texture detail to high or Normal or whatever usually sorts it, but lately it hasnt been. will try that flush thing.

Its a joke aint it, I mean what can we do ? Rockets only recently just stated he carnt do anything about it while its a Mod, But he well aware of the problem. Im fed up of complaining tbh. We killed 2 ghillie guys in Stary last night, But a 3rd shot my friend. He must of ran off, One guy was looting ther tents while 2 others where covering him, so my friend went down and killed him but was immediatly sniped from my right, Then I hear clinking of a hammer of a tent to my left, there was a ghillie guy right next to me laid down, I killed him, he had an MP5 and loads of other stuff, So then I ran back over the hill found 2 tents in the little bushy tree line, One had loads of stuff plus DMR ammo, and other had MP5 ammo and loads of stuff, there was Civillian clothing in one which I took. So Basically you guys are saying I have someones dirty laundry in my backpack ? lmao The hammer noise must of been glitched where it keeps playing it which gave his position away right next to me, coz the tents where too far away to hear the noise, Plus he was laid beside a tree when I could hear the noise. Its happened to us before, If it wernt for a bug in the game that guy would still be alive.

Ididnt mean it was funny when you got hacked, I agree its the worst feeling ever, Its happened to me 4 times this week and yes Ive probs complained more than anyone. What was funny was the way you said, The fuckin Cow is throwing flares, Now that was funny, It was actually a Goat. But please dont think I was laughing at you been hacked coz that is certainly not the case. Its terrible and they need to be tied up in some dark room and tortured to death. Sad sad people.
