Totally disagree, OP. You ARE doing something wrong. Add me on Steam (Same name & pic), and we'll play for a bit as long as it's a hardcore server. I don't have a character there yet, as my friend doesn't want to play without 3p. I have a mic and TS if needed.

Rocket made a NV set, but Brian (iirc) complained it would be too OP, so Rocket made them into bino's. Sadly.

They already made a 6x30 soviet dienstglas iirc. No clue why they aren't in yet. They look beautiful. But 6x30 is a very small magnification. And binocs that old usually have foggy prisms. Though I doubt they'd implement that. Hoping for some EDF's or other Soviet decent-quality binocs. 7*50 would be good enough. It has a built-in IR filter, so once they add more advanced equipment, we'd be able to see infrared with it.

It can be played with a PVP focus. It can also be played as a RP platform or even a social utility app. It all depends on the player. I choose to play it co-op against the environment (well... kinda lacking in features atm, but you get the idea I hope), but anyone whos not on my group and has a weapon gets shot. So I play it both PVE/CO-OP and PVP, and saying PVP is not for DayZ and that I'm missing out on all the social interactions etc (which I don't care for anyway), is wrong. Also, where the hell did I say he shouldn't give any feedback? Dafuq?

It IS a PVP game. Also PVE, though. A mix of both.

If you don't have enough time to spend to run to the nearest town, you count as a casual. This is not a game for casuals.

Consider TS as whispering, then. A mechanic I highly doubt we'll see decently implemented until beta at the earliest. And even then the "whisper voip" (if we ever even get such a thing), will still ignore walls. It's not any more an unfair advantage as having 4 titans and 6 monitors hooked up. You could see TS as something which counters some of the shortcomings a videogame has which you wouldn't have irl. Like being able to adjust your voice pitch, using gestures (for communication, not for putting up your hands or giving the finger...) facial expressions, headshakes to indicate directions without making a sound... Need I go on?

If you looked up the game before buying, you would've noticed that's the core aspect of DayZ... Should've checked the mod to see if you actually like the game, instead of asking the game to change to please you.

Weve also seen movies on how the Americans dropped atomics on a country of which they knew was going to surrender, we were also thought about dresden, were thought how the russians raped half of eastern germanys women, and how the japanese did the same and experimented what would happen if you took a living humans kidneys out. Likewise we were thought how the Russians freed concentration camps, heard a woman say how she was saved from a building that was going to blow to bits because of allied bombardements 5 seconds after a German rushed in and carried her out. And about all the Americans and Brits (and Canadians, etc) who lost their lives to make sure it all came to an end.

I definitely hope we will be able to store guns in them now. At least in the mountaineering backpacks. They look big enough to be able to put an m4 in them, at least with the buttstock removed.

Because theyre easier to hide amongst others, at the cost of less storage space. Atm I dont really care what we get for storage, a bunker or a shoe box. Anything will do. The consequences will be huge as more people will stick to the server with their backpacks. Less hopping, more stable community, more incentive for playing, less aggression as you wont lose everything on death...

Its about the cpu...
