  1. Still no fixes for all the bugs & troubles we've been reporting since saturday... For my group of mates the game is unplayable, so we're not playing but as we enjoy it a lot, we'd like to play it asap :(

    I like the fact you're not killing people on sight... At least it's a different approach even if it looks rude, it's a part of the game. Also what have been suggested was nice, to make them scared of being robbed then you put something really useful in their backpack then ask them to run as fast as possible haha
  3. Please fix your update ASAP! Six Launcher is broken, servers are popping and depopping, graphical artifacts all the way, zombies aggro is litteraly a piece of crap (or broken to be polite) sometime you shoot one zombie in the middle of the town it doesn't do anything, sometimes you shoot one zombie OUTSIDE of the town, and the whole town is coming, same shit with their sight they can spot you even when they turn their back, from 200m+ when you're crouch-running... It's a BIG mess to say the least! It's barely playable, my friends and I are waiting that fix to play again... =/
  4. Lol at the whiners seriously... Will this ever stop ? I mean you're playing AN ALMOST REALISTIC ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE SURVIVAL GAME !!! Stop with the wrong expectations please. How can you come here and cry about the fact that there is no respawn button because YOU broke your leg / you're not spawning CLOSE ENOUGH to your friends,clan,whatever... Actually the issues that has to be addressed are the zombies AI, the GUNS balance, the multiple bugs with vehicles/tents etc... Not the things that require you to PLAY the game WITH YOUR BRAIN ! You broke your leg without a morphine on you ? Well too bad for you, you had to be more careful. Try to crawl your way up to the closest hospital, it's hard, thrilling, and another experience of the game... You are not spawning close to your mates ? Well ok... Both of you have to run in the same direction and find a rally point, one run with the sea on his left, the other on the right, avoid zombies and populated area, check for supplies as you're going to need at least one drink. It's again, another experience of the game... YES, it's a part of the game, and my friends and I are enjoying it as it is. We're taking the game as it is. Of course it needs polishs and new features, BUT NO FEATURES THAT WOULD RUIN the core gameplay. You MUST survive by any means. Once people get over it, we'll be alright.

    Zombies aggro from 50+ meters

    This happened to a lot of us too, we were crouch-running like 200m away of a zombie which was turning his back, and he saw us... Same shit repeated over and over again. Same with a winchester shot, on an isolated zombie, the whole town came to us (over 40+ zombies wtf!), yesterday it worked just fine. What happened?

    Bring back the respawn button

    To me gathering with your friends IS a part of the game actually, it's hard, it takes time, you have to go in dangerous places, gather some supplies for the long run coming up... And if you play without the MAP of the dayzdb, you'll find yourself looking for any big structures that can be a gathering point. It's a full journey and if you don't like it, then you don't get this is a survival game, not a "going rambo with 15friends and rape everything around" game. For everything else like bugs, with people being stuck & on, ok, you have a point, this should be enabled for them.

    I have this graphical issue since the last two updates too... It happens really often and when it appears, it's just unplayable cause you can't see ANYTHING! Edit : I have a GTX580 if it helps... Running on w7 64bits

    We lost everything TWICE in our vehicle, one after the first patch yesterday night, and one after the patch this morning... :( Weapons, ammos, backpacks, ... That's not fun!

    Construction

    You have to make it hard to build it for the reasons I've gave, like you need a scheme/design to actually get how to build this building, it will give you want it needs to be built step by step : materials & tools. Steps for a watchtower (wooden one, keep it mind I just give it as an example) : 1st step : you need a shovel, dig holes for the small foundations 2nd step : you need an hatchet, woods and ropes/strings Etc...

    No, even if it is for ArmA 2 it is complicated, you have twice controls for crouch/prone for example, but it's not limited to this, you have some stuff that are bound twice... Why? :o

    Construction

    Well I'm all against instanced buildings, it sounds OP and once you've done it, it can't be destroyed at all, so... What next ? I like the idea of my shelter being exposed to danger in a persistant world outside, where it can be seen and destroyed. You can't and should not wish for it to be permanent, underground, cause there is nothing left to build there when there are no more space, on the ground, because there would too many of it on a long run. Also it should be bind to the server you're in, because if you change server with your shelters bound to you, it might make some collision problem if someone has already built there, and this would be a big problem. We should also think of an utility to build these, as we're not sleeping at all in this game and as we might build it far away from zombies, so you won't run there to hide from zombies. First, obviously should be the possibility to store some of your equipments, but then? Any idea? An hot spot to cook your meats?

    I was just thinking the same... So this should already be a feature, but not to be imbalanced, it should regen really slooooooowly, but still regen... Other than that suggestion, the other things are really far away from this game concept.

    Construction

    So I forget the mention you'll have to have some other tools to add to your toolbelt like a pickaxe to get stone (and the map as some spot with a lot of rock so it's all fine :)), a shovel as well, lets say to dig a small flat hole to start building... Well we can imagine a lot of new stuff to make it realistic and give another toy to play with in this amazing game :)

    I have thought of it a lot of time and this would be really really immersive to have this as part of the gameplay BUT you also have to think it as a whole concept. What if people keep building and building and building and... You see my point. The map will be overwhelmed of these things. You need solution to solve this or at least make it really hard to build, as it should result of a strong effort. Like : - It should require a lot of material to build shelters/other things which can be made with different mats : woods, woods & stone, stone, stone/metal (or a mix of all of these?) + some mats to fix it all together. Which lead to my other point... - It can't be made in one day(and it should be a restriction), you'll need to find a "recipe"? to know how to build it, then mats (a lot... again), and it will require a lot of effort (building your tools to build it, or finding it... or any ideas?) - There should be something that can destroy your construction, like a new zombie that is super weak against human but really strong against building and is aggro'ing players' constructions ? And/Or it degrades itself through the days... And/Or you can't repair it... Any ideas again? There should be downsides for these things or it will "pollute" the servers on a long run.

    Just : LOL ! You made my day ! Just so you know, strafing out of a house can prepare yourself to a possible fight, if there is a zombie/player just right behind the angle of the door, you're able to instantly shoot. If you want to do what you say, well do it, but you will get out, free look, and if there is a player, you'll have to unhold your key to freelook, double tap to zoom (depending on the weapon you have, if you've a melee one forget this), aim and shot. In the meantime you've been killed. Not to mention the gameplay is really rigid, it's not all smooth. Strafing would allow you to quick check and fire if needed really fast. But you can't, you're stuck there if you try to do so. The engine has some real problem at some points. (the collisions are a HUGE problem, everywhere)

    I'm living in a rural small town and I know what I am saying when talking about big empty fields without anything around (no lights, no town, not anything which could be a light source), so basically you got me wrong. The sky's a great source of light, not limited to the moon reflecting the sun light. Here, the night is just wrong.

    You did not read me did you ? Try to read again... I have empty fields around(it's far enough though) my neighbourhood without ANY lights where there are just trees and grass, and depending on the night sky, you're able to see more or less correctly. The nights in DayZ are just BLACK, that's in no way realistic at all. Even with clouds in the sky, you still can see the sky (but you may have some troubles to distinguish what's around you).
