Well switching to UDK or CE 3 will remove all these clippings, wrong hitboxes, the fact that you can't get out of a house strafing (like you would do in any other FPS to make sure there are nobody outside, but here you have to FACE the entrance and get out like a retard because of the wrong hitboxes with buildings), and a lot more problems... (work with the inventary and backpack is a pain in the ass). But whatever he choses, I'll be behind him for sure!

I don't support this feature even if Rocket mentionned it, because gathering with your friend is a part of the game to me. It's dangerous because you can die on the way, you have to get water/drinks, get food, and of course try to distinguish some key elements out there to spot where you can possibly be. And then try to meet. This adds really something more realistic to the game, and it's really enjoyable once you met. Also there should not be any maps on the web... but that's another debate ^^

I think the night is just too dark and NOT realistic at all. I've been out many time at full night in my neighbourhood or just with friend in some fields to just hang out and talk without ANY lights around and you're still able to see decently thanks to the night sky light. I am not saying that you can see super well or anything like that, but you can distinguish shapes and like 25-50meters around you. Here it's just... black with no source of lights, like the sun isn't even reflecting on the moon and the sky's light is not there. I heard this game wants to be realistic, so yes, night time has to be tweaked a little bit.

Hello, Well as the title says, I want to share my experience with another player, I feel it could add another dimension to that game to play with a partner. I have a TS3 Server, so you'll have to have a (good) microphone. I am playing as often as I can so if you're playing a lot, it's a good thing. You'll also have to be fluent in English if we meet with some people that are not hostile. And good player with a good spirit (we're playing for fun, even if some situations might be frustrating :D) If you are a newbie it's a plus as I really want to explore/discover everything by myself ;)

Ha, that would be really fine ! But just one thing bothers me is the ping you might have playing on an EU serv or the one I might have playing on a North American server... If you have a decent connection (better than mine?) would you accept playing on an EU serv ? I have around 180ms on an US one for example... :lol:

Yes sure I understand it, but if you're really into that kind of game, you'll screw that map ! Til you find one in game :lol:

To me the fact of having an external map with locations & loots just ruin a part of the game, you don't have that feeling of being lost anymore or when you're struggling to get anything good after cleaning every single corners/houses. But it's just my opinion :P

Hello, I've been browsing the web to find anything about the basics, yet I am fine but I have still one or two things that bother me... First is, I don't know how to use the chemlights nor the flares, seems like you can't interact with in your inventory... Like right clicking and equip it. Or am I missing anything ? I don't have any use for it at the moment but well, I should be prepared for everything I guess :P Second is, is there any possible ways to get your stuff in the backpack from your inventory without dropping it ? Thanks for any answers! -- While I am at it, if anyone wants to share his playing experience with me, I have a TS 3 (TeamSpeak 3), I am French, I play quite a lot, and you'll be getting a lot of fun... hm what else ? :P --

Thanks Bros, I'll try this out. Ponc, when you're saying "press F" what does F refers to in the key mapping ? I have remapped a lot of my keys actually :D For the backpack I have tried this but you don't see all the stuffs you have in your inventory at the same time...
