    I can not connect to any servers. Every time, I get a "You were kicked off the game" message. Someone mentioned in another thread that this could be caused by not having the correct version of the game, but I do not know how to apply updates to ArmA or DayZ. This is my first steam game. Can anyone help?

    I shot a guy twice with the M24 yesterday. The first shot went through his neck and he went prone. The second shot went through his thigh. He then stood up and ran into cover, bandaged himself and disconnected.

    I'm running a GTX 460 at 1080p on a 47" TV and I get 30 - 60 fps. I would say that screen resolution is holding you back.

    Do you feel a sense of accomplishment when you shoot a guy carrying only a flashlight and a bandage? Do you feel as though you have overcome the odds, stared death in the face and come out on top? Have some beans for your triumphant victory over the unarmed. :emptycan: Oops, the can is empty. :(

    I am currently carrying 2 primary weapons, one of them is of coarse in my pack. What is the safest way to swap the one from my pack into my inventory and vice versa without either of them being eaten?

    Thanks, I'm pretty sure I did it the opposite way last time and my backpack ate my M16. It transfers all ammo as well, correct? So I need to make sure there is enough room in my pack for the ammo as well.

    At dusk, it's great. You can still see a bit but you have more cover from the Z's. But once it is pitch black and you can't even see your gun in front of your face. It's pointless.

    What do you think about infusing just a bit more light than the game currently has? Does this game have an actual moon cycle? Every night game I have played has virtually no moon, only a sliver.

    I just wish they would put in a little bit more light at night. I've never even seen a pair of NVG. And without them playing at night is pointless. Also the filter for Dayzcommander is quite spotty as to weather or not it is accurate. Combine that with the outlandish loading times and you end up spending more time server hopping than actually playing.

    In my week or so of playing, I have stumbled upon two vehicles. A motorbike that was out of fuel. The server crashed as I was looking to find a Jerry Can. And a Boat that was out of fuel. I went and found fuel, got in the boat moved 20 feet and became lodged on a sandbar or something. I say we need more vehicles all together. Never being able to drive one is crappy.

    The problem is, there is ONLY bandits. I have theory on these guys. I'm guessing they are just really really bad at actual competitive games. So they come here to shoot the unarmed. If someone is a threat, by all means take them out. But killing fresh, defenseless spawns is just getting old.

    Have a less than stellar internet connection and still play DayZ while chatting? I finally convinced a friend of mine to come play this game with me. However, he is running a 6MB D/L DSL connection (not sure of U/L) and once he starts a game, he drops from chat. We have tried the steam chat (<Horrible) and Skype. Both do the same thing, He starts to break up really bad and sometimes will just disconnect all together. I'm assuming it's on his end since I don't have any problems with anyone else. Does anyone know a workaround for this or a different chat service that is not as strenuous on bandwidth?
