How do I go about updating through steam?

Happens on regular servers as well. I like being able to see myself on the map, however, I'm not a big fan of seeing other players or them seeing me.

Me too. Only thing I could think of is that I joined the server earlier but couldn't connect, just sat in the loading screen. So I disconnected and connected a couple times with no luck. Maybe the admin thought I was up to no good.

I spent all day yesterday running around trying to find a vehicle with no luck.

I have my hatchet, matches, wood, hunting knife, but I have been all over the map the past couple days and can not for the life of me find an animal to shoot for some food. I was low on blood (7,000) and since I'm playing solo I figured I would just kill some animals. I've played long enough now that I have returned my blood to 12,000 with the beans I have found but still no animals. Is there something special I have to do to hunt?

I found a rabbit and a cow. The cow tried to pull some evasive manoeuvres, but he couldn't escape my MK48.

every server I go into it's pitch black right now.

I try to avoid playing at night. The moon should give off more night, having it pitch black sucks.

Can other players see the map markers I place? The single click small bullseye type markers.

I suspected so after someone was waiting for me in a dear stand in the middle of nowhere on a low pop server. Kind of screws up the realism a bit.

I picked up an MK48 mod 0 with 5 CLIPS at the NW airfield yesterday. :rolleyes:

I just hope they can stop them from coming through walls.

I am not man enough to play at night anyway. lol. I can't see anything and I know all those bandits have NVG.

I'm running a GTX 460 and the game runs great. I haven't checked the FPS, but my eye test says :thumbsup:

Server pixies ate my tent with 3 AS50's and 30 plus mags :| I stole them from someone elses camp anyway so I guess what goes around comes around, lol.

Can I come and take a ride in your van? lol. I haven't been able to find vehicle yet.

What's funny is, on my previous life I found and killed a couple boars but I couldn't find matches anywhere. Now that I have everything else, no animals.

I read that WarZ will have skills to learn and a level up system. That right there makes me want nothing to do with the game.

I've been noticing a large difference in zombie AI in between servers, even on the same difficulty levels. Is there something the admins change to decide how smart or sensitive to player movement Z's are? I've been ditching chasing Z's today in the easiest ways, such as circle a pine tree and hit the deck on the opposite side. I've also been able to pass within feet of Z's without drawing their attention. Sometimes, they just stop chasing all together. Yesterday I was Agro'ing Z's from ridiculous ranges. I'd be crouch walking and turn my head and notice a zombie sprinting at me from 100 meters away. On a side note, I may have found a bit of a glitch. I went into the south side of Berezino (spelling?) and started looking for loot (need a tent). Not one building had a single bit of loot in it, not even an empty can.

How long does it take for loot to respawn inside a building?

Sounds like you need to take some painkillers. You have the shakes.

When looking at my map sometimes 1 or more orange/yellow dots appear close to me but then disappear. Are these other players?
