This is another one of those things I get irritated by. I try to be silent like a ninja but before I know it I'm running away from a zombie which miraculously heard me from half a mile away and does a full on sprint the opposite way, making me think someone else is there. But then I see him running back over a hill towards me faster than anything I've ever seen.

I'll just do the ones what pop into mind; Lag People who kill unarmed survivors (On purpose) My friends lack of navigational skills The amazing ATV flip, however it's happened so many times I'm kind of getting used to bringing it back up. Zombies who hit me through walls My fat fingers when I accidently press V instead of B and end up vaulting over a hillside.

The video deserves beans, also if I may ask, what type of weapons was inside the tents?

You might be better off recommending a friend about this game, someone who you truly trust and ask them to take advantage of the steam sale (If it's still on)

Inb4a"umad"comment. But I admit I some times get a bit cheesed off if I'm unarmed and someone looks at me for a moment then shoots, even though it's a bit obvious I've just spawned in. When ever me and my friend sees an unarmed person we'll let the pass on by, or if they need assistance and we've got an extra morphine/bandage we'd easily fix them up. However when some one has an axe and keeps running behind me I'd end up warning him as he could just go mad and kill me during a little de-sync/lagg moment.

Do you mind sharing a bit of that luck?

I've been reading these forums for a few months, but I personally still haven't encountered an hacker, and I play daily for a few hours, sometimes on random servers. I count my self lucky that it's only corrupt admins that ruin my progress rather than hackers.

Yeah it's been happening to me, only to find out that the Admin was probably with his clan looting our tents/vehicles and passworded the server to prevent us from getting on makes it worse. But no one really is doing much about this.

Nothing more embarrassing than wanting to do an quick grab and run but all you've got is a lee enfield and it takes about 10 rounds to smash the glass.

At about 9pm the server went back up, can anyone from the server at least explain why it was locked? Because all I can see is Admin abuse. Seriously, no one is going to take action against this?

What loot did they have on them? This happened to me, kinda. Me and my friend found a random guy afk bleeding out with broken bones up north, we fixed him up but began to lagg and bang my friend said he got shot. Since there was only 3 of us assumed it was the guy we patched up and shot him. But then 2 minutes later the lagg stopped and I went inside a barn to await my friend, I heard drinking turned around and saw an akm sticking out of the back of an haystack, I shot him straight away realising he was the person who shot my friend. But the lagg between me shooting him 7-10 times with a M4A1 took about 5 seconds to register and he killed me, we both died. Thanks fully I managed to run back and loot my NVGS, GPS, Fn Fal (With night vision) and coyote backpack. I suppose I'm lucky that someone didn't find the bodies.

If I remember correctly you should be able to edit the launch options of the Beta thingy, all you have to do is right click it, then click on edit. Near the bottom there should be something what looks like -Window, just delete that.

I understand what you're on about. Me and my friend found NVG's and we wanted to try out a night time server (A day after we found the NVGS) And I spent about 2 hours looking/joining servers which should of been dark but they wasn't.

Wookie suit xD Where abouts was this body? But like Priceless said, there's only one good in Dayz with thermal sights on I believe, and that's the L85ASW.

The only reason I've done that in the past is because my friend is as blind as a bat. So I used a female Char :$$$ To help him recognise me easier and not shoot me. But once I found out that they couldn't use Ghillie suits I went back to male.

This hasn't happened to me, however last night me and my friend managed to find a UAZ and a Tractor, we spent about 3-4 hours running to Berezino to fix them up. Along with running back and forth we managed to find 2 helicopter crashes and between them both there was 2 FN FALs, 2 Bizons, 1 AS50 and an M107. We logged off for about 4 hours (After hiding the vehicles and when I came back I saw that the server was locked with 3/4 People inside it. After a while it became unlocked and we lost every thing we found including the guns because we couldn't find a tent so we stuck them inside the Tractor and UAZ. So the game it's self hasn't really fucked me over, only the admins and clans who lock servers to loot vehicles.
